Fast forward a week after the trip, and a week after my furball's FIRST birthday celebration, and what do I get? A one-way ticket to the vet's office where my dog is struggling for his life, thanks to not one, not two, but THREE freaking ticks. A week of treatment, including a ventilator stint, and what's the result? I had to kiss my beloved pet goodbye. And guess what? Every time the vet heard it was Purina, they weren't shocked. Apparently, every tick paralysis case involving prevention treatment led straight back to this garbage brand.

The agony, the heartbreak, the absolute freaking nightmare my household is going through is indescribable. We're left shattered by the loss of a family member, and the toll it's taken on us—financially, emotionally, and mentally—is beyond belief.

We filed a complaint with Purina, but they've conveniently slammed the door on us. Now, a case sits with the Australian Pesticide and Veterinary Medicine Authority, but who knows if that'll make a damn difference. If you've gone through the living hell we have, I'm begging you to raise your voice, file a case, and let's collectively rip this abomination off the market. No one else should suffer through the nightmare we've endured.

Never Buy This Product – Our beautiful puppy who was 2 days from being a year old was vaccinated with this product. He was at his last week of needing new application and died from tick paralysis. darling puppy had died, that you do realise you need to apply this brand once every week, read the fine print. Who would when the box said one month. Please do not try and save your dollars by buying rubbish, it will kill your dog.

Does not work – Our spaniel has had recurring fleas the past 3 months, have been treating with this to no avail. Took him to vet today, was told this product is ineffective as fleas are now resistant to the main ingredient fipronil! Said they shouldn’t be selling this anymore. Doesn’t work - waste of money and caused continued suffering for my dog – My dog doesn’t usually have fleas but started scratching a few weeks ago. I bought and applied this product as directed 12 days ago but scratching was becoming worse so I checked my dog’s skin in the rump area today and he had visible broken skin and bites. product (Nexgard chew) from a pet supplier today, administered it and only a few hours later his scratching has virtually stopped.

Complete rubbish stay away from this brand, buyer be warned, the product does not work – I only wish I had checked here first, after spending my money on this rubbish. I have two small dogs. the other brands which charge a crap load more, you would assume it was for the same thing, but actually works. In the end, it would have being cheaper to go for the expensive brand. A very expensive lesson learnt for me. Do not buy anything regarding this brand, until they stop scamming people with rubbish that doesn’t work is my suggestion. Lord only knows everything else there flogging can only be just as bad. Before publishing this they give you an option to mediate. What a joke, don't bother. No matter how much evidence you provide that you've covered everything several times over, yes even the environment. They some how continue to repeat themselves like a broken record, but cannot explain exactly what it is that we are pumping into our fur families, by using their products. Offering a voucher, instead of the full refund I made clear I wanted, doesn't cut it when they have no right to dick tate what compensation is appropriate. I told them what they can do with the voucher, and the lame response to my concerns. I for one will not leave it here, they will be held accountable via the class action I'm looking into, this is far from over. Reputation is key, I've got nothing to lose but to expose this brand / rubbish for it is. Not even worthy of the 1 star. I'm having to wait at least another month before I can administer anything from any other brand for either heart worm or fleas until I know the rubbish from this brand is no longer there system. My dogs broke out in rashes on the back of the neck, more redness the list is endless.
