We had one for over a year all guidelines followed. Then a bottle exploded during normal use. My wife got a severe cut to her arm that almost touched the bone. The company did refund the cost of the machine but will not consider lost wages etc. If you haven't bought one yet dont. If you have be very careful and don't let children use it.
Follow-up · It is easy to clean the machine but no dishwasher. Safety instructions were clear and all followed but that didn't stop the malfunction causing bad injuries to my wifes arm. They are an Australian company but the products are made in [Content Removed]. As I have said before if you haven't bought one yet then don't. If you have o e then be very careful and don't let the children use it.
Badlydesigned system – Terrible, water leaks out the top of you try to put even the basic amount of carbonation in. You can only fill them a bit over half full otherwise it spills everywhere. bottles are also very skinny so they don’t fit a lot in. Regret buying and wished I had returned it. Looking for a new system.
The Customer service team at Twenty39 better update their product information included in this product with a clear warning. over to find my partner & most of the kitchen covered in water however that was the least of the problem.
We were shocked & kept asking if he was OK- he appeared to be but complained he was temporally deaf with a funny ringing in his ears,later on he discovered 3 bruises on both arms & chest from impact of flying plastic - it could have been much worse if it was his face or if I had done it as I’m much shorter than he is.
The shards from the exploded bottle were all over the kitchen and there was a dent in wall next to the unit. Luckily he was the only one in the room.
He operated the device as usual-3 short bursts.
The bottle was filled as directed and was only 19 months old -well short of the recommended 24 months replacement.
We all were beyond shocked that this situation could have been so much worse. I did purchase the 2 steel bottles as well but to be honest I really don’t feel comfortable using this product at all.
I have reached out by email to you guys but have heard nothing back so hence this review. Also there was no provision for pictures in the contact page which I have included in this review.
Not sure what the return policy is after 19 months but to me,what’s more important, is that I’m truely thankful no one was hurt.

My initial review for this product was a 5-star love it, however one of the caps leaked. I advised the company via messenger (could not find a person), who did absolutely nothing about it but wanted me to take more videos showing how much it leaked. Now after washing left them two of the bottles on mydraining board and they buckled in the heat, inside my home! I live in Adelaide, yes it was hot outside. This has been in mediation where the initial email stated..."Are you open to trying to resolve the issue or would you prefer a refund. Of course if we can't rectify the issue, we will be happy for you to return the products and provide you with a refund". and on the 2nd of March 2023 "It is still covered under w arranty and as such I would be happy to work with you to resolve the issue." I opted for the refund as the product was faulty. On the 3rd March I was advised "We have issued a full refund". No deposit... so I queasiness why? On 8th March I get "Linda, it appears that the refund attempt failed likely due it being paid for via afterpay. Please provide bank details." Which I do of course. On the 8th I get this "Disappointed to see your review given our generosity in offering a refund. As we stated in our reply in our previous email" On 9 March I get this notification... "Upon reviewing the situation, this is what we are prepared to offer. Please keep in my you are well out of the 30day returns policy. Option 1: send you a replacement qarbo sparkling water maker - you can choose the colour. Option 2: Provide you a refund of $135. As you have confirmed all the items in the order have been used, we are unable to restock any of these."
1. I still don't know which bit is faulty so replacing the maker isn't a solution 2. I paid for a bundle at $269.
Yes, I did confirm all items were used, that's how I knew they were faulty.

five bottles in a day and we only own four! We only have the two children, wife not into it… yet, so the three of us loving this. Had all these Bickford’s cordials from previous shopping and bought three syrups from Quarbo. We got ours just 10 days ago, the syrups are history and more than half the cordials are gone. It’s easy, well thought out and blissfully simple to use. Massive difference to the home and everyone stays well hydrated. The post sales service has been excellent, answering queries promptly and ready to help in online chat. Impressive. This one is a no-brainer purchase decision.

More than just a soda water maker – I bought the qarbo as I liked the thought of being able to carbonate more than just water. I also liked the more stylish appearance of the unit which sits nicely on the kitchen benctop. I really enjoy making sparkling juices and adding fruits to my sparkling water. recipes yet. The bottles while elegant, are quite tall and only fit in one spot in my fridge, unless I purchase the holder.
Overall though, I am enjoying using my qarbo.

Does not live up to promises. Do not recommend – Whilst this machine does a good job of fizzing plain water, it does not do a good job fizzing water with syrup, without it leaking and making a mess. Therefore, it does not do what it says it does. Poor quality, returned after first use – Read all the instructions before using, made sure to wash the bottles in lukewarm water (not hot). Went to use it the first time and the base fell off the bottle. Used the second bottle but it seemed too short to reach the mechanism that carbonates the water. won’t bubble over. Also wanted one that looked good. So far it’s great and would highly recommend. 4.5 stars only because it would have felt higher quality if made of metal and glass instead of plastic but it still looks great and we realise that a glass and metal option may be prone to breakage and more expensive. Great Machine – Very quick and easy to use, certainly saving on soft drinks which = less plastic being purchased. The only small negative would be the feel of the plastic, it feels a bit cheap. Other than that great product. Show details
Works well but looks a little cheap – Does a great job and the water storsge bottles look great. My only criticism is the plastic chrome infuser itself does look a bit cheap but it works great which is the main thing.
Great machine – Love this machine, haven’t had to buy any soda water since purchase. The flavours I purchased were excellent, the only slight negative in the cheapness of the the chrome plastic it doesn’t screen quality. Overall Very good machine.

Very happy – Love the look of my qarbo and it works well. Only negative for me was having to rearrange refrigerator shelves to accommodate the very tall bottles - but it was worth doing.
Handy and excellent soda maker – Does exactly what is advertised. It's sleek and nice and doesn't take up much room in the kitchen as well, and comes with a handy booklet for first time users :)
Absolutely Awesome – This sparkling bubble infuser is fabulous!!! The size is streamlined very tall and narrow and can be used any were. Very easy to pack and take on a road trip. The different flavours you can make are endless. I bought additional bottles thinking I would use them as bubble and go bottles they are extremely Tall and (skinny / narrow, only about 7 cm diameter. between this, the Aarke and the Phillips versions which all look sleek and modern. I took a chance on this not being able to see it, but I’m sorry I did. I think for the price the Phillips is a more solid product and for a bit more the Aarke is far superior looking and feeling. Also the tall thin bottles are unbalanced and a ridiculous size in the fridge. In the door they are too tall and thin so they fall out every time you open the door. Laying down they are too long for the average fridge.
Very happy with the infuser – Been making some excellent fruit infused drinks with this. Works well, simple and a great kit though a little over priced considering everything is made of plastic.
