Vanilla Prepaid Mastercard

This is the WORST gift card. I purchased a Vanilla Mastercard with $300 credit in December 2025 then by mid Jan 2026 and it stopped working with $120 credit still remaining. No reason given why it was blocked. I have called the help line on 24 January 2026 and get someone in India and I was told a replacement card will be issued in 30 business days. I was given a case number and have followed my card with 7 phone calls as the replacement card was never issued. I sent an email with images of the card to their email address I was given and still no response by today 7 April 2026. THIS IS A SCAM AS I BELIEVE PEOPLE OFFSHORE ARE RIPPING OFF THE BALANCES.

The Vanilla Prepaid Mastercard cards are so dodgy. Bought 2 x $300 Prepaid Mastercard cards and the card numbers and the pin are unreadable. These cards are useless now.

Formal Complaint Regarding Delayed Replacement of Suspended Prepaid Gift Card – I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the handling of my Vanilla Master Prepaid Gift Card issue. I purchased this card at Woolworths in October 2024 and used it without issue until the remaining balance of $73 was unexpectedly suspended. On 4 November 2024, I contacted the customer care team and was advised to wait 6 business weeks for a replacement card. After this period passed with no resolution, I called again and was told my case would be escalated, with another 6 business weeks required to process the replacement. Despite this assurance, I have yet to receive a replacement card as of the end of January 2025.

When I contacted the customer care team again today, I was informed that I must wait yet another 6 business weeks for a resolution. This is unacceptable. I have been patient and cooperative, but the repeated delays and lack of action have caused significant inconvenience and frustration.
