visited the movies - was already to go for 'Michael' along with a huge group of our friends and was embarrassed at the HOYTS Cinema booking counter when after several times the card did not work. The most embarrassing and we had to have someone else pay for the tickets. DO NOT BUY THESE CARDS - cash is far better as these guys are a rip off and you don't want to gift someone something that clearly does not work and will think that you have bought some dodgy / fake card destroying all of your good intentions. I have tried calling and emailing them, but they seem to be like Facebook for support - non existent and their phone system goes in a loop. I will be raising a formal complaint with AFCA who should ensure such scams are not allowed to be sold at Woolworths, Kmart etc.

The others were all so expensive my $100 card would barely cover three appetisers. I tried for a refund but they refused to offer any help. There is one gift card that works in every restaurant in Australia. Its called cash.

use to this specific country. This was never mentioned on their terms and conditions. I filed a complaint and wanted it to be escalated but all I got was an email that my complaint has been resolved when it wasn’t. They are guided by strict regulations of FSA Act so what they’ve done was against it and can be considered a breach. Hope this review will help any future customers.

straight away.. I am in Australia and someone in Vietnam used all of the funds are few days after it was emailed to me. UGC emailed and said the email had gone to the wrong email address originally but since then they won't answer my calls or emails.. the last I heard they were contacting the issuing card company and were investigating but that was a couple of months ago and yes I have tried contacting them often but no reply. I have told Honda about this and they will be looking to use another incentive scheme as this company is dodgy and has zero customer service - you can't even ring them - I did manage to get a staff members mobile but it just goes to message bank. exchanging another general gift card to use at Village (Village requires you to exchange general gift cards to specific E-Vouchers in order to use them at Village), it is easily the most complicated and absolute worst process ever. There aren’t any clear or straightforward instructions at any point, you hit issue after issue (eg. Continuous errors attempting to enter and redeem voucher codes) or their system just gives you nothing at all and won’t allow you to proceed. Customer service is even worse, impossible to access, unhelpful, unapologetic and they take far too long to respond. If and when they do, I haven’t found them to be helpful or interested in my issues and queries. There isn’t any clear information informing customers that all vouchers take at least 24hrs to be activated in their system either, so if by some miracle you happen to get to the point where their website and system actually recognises your voucher, you’re unable to use it straight away and village don’t seem to think this is important to mention. Many of their vouchers and deals don’t even last the minimum 3 years before expiry, with most expiring after 12 months. I have always preferred village over other cinemas but after so many poor and terrible experiences, it’s clear they don’t care about customer support or satisfaction.

incorrect PIN. My better half tried to resolve this, only to be flicked back and forth between Woolworth and Telstra. I got onto it yesterday and it was quickly resolved, thanks to Woolworth Gift Card support. At least I was able to use the card. Yippee! Here just sharing experience and a few tips, hopefully helpful to everyone.

At Woolworth supermarket, when the card didn't work, we were asked to go to Telstra for help. Only for Telstra to flick us back to Woolworth. What I figured is that it is a Woolworth Gift card so Telstra sourced it from Woolworth. Woolworth really is the card issuer, generating the card, PIN, barcode, etc, not Telstra. So I called Woolworth Gift Card support - 1300 101 234 - (not supermarket the retailer). We quickly confirmed the card is operational and PIN is correct.

We could check the card balance at https://www.everyday.com.au -> Gifting -> Check Balance ourselves too. Just enter the card number and PIN. This proved that the PIN is correct and I successfully used these 2 pieces of info and completed a purchase with the card. Haven't tried using the barcode yet, so maybe I jumped the gun a little. But so relieved that it works, I want to share this experience which might be helpful to you.

Why 5 stars? Wife called Woolworth for support before. While she couldn't get the problem resolved. Woolworth was so nice she was given some store credits. Thank you! The lady from Woolworth Gift Card support I spoke to was very friendly, patient and courteous, guiding me to through how to check it myself. Well done Woolworth Gift Card team.

weekend, only to be told that the gift card was showing a zero balance. I called Gourmet Traveller Gift Card this morning and was told that they have no record of these cards being purchased. They said I need to go back to where I purchased them and talk to them. Given it is 18 months ago, I do not still have the receipt, but have the bank transaction details as I know the date I bought them. I know I paid for them and they were activated at the time of purchase. Customer Service is ridiciously unhelpful and when I hung up on them, they proceeded to call me back to once again tell me they couldnt assist me. DO NOT PURCHASE THESE CARDS!!!

contacted Best Gift Cards on their email address provided but my emails were returned undelivered. I contacted Paypal as I had made my payment through them and on May 16, 2025 the card was delivered to my sister's email. No apology or communication on the late service, which they said would be activated within 72 hours.

I have called the help line on 24 January 2026 and get someone in India and I was told a replacement card will be issued in 30 business days. I was given a case number and have followed my card with 7 phone calls as the replacement card was never issued. for raffles at a work function I was hosting. I placed the order and waited, but nothing came through. After giving it some time, I contacted my bank, who confirmed the payment had cleared perfectly on their end.

​I was then told by Card.Gift that my order was caught in their "fraud team" net. I immediately replied, explicitly offering to send through my identification or provide any other assistance needed to clear the transaction. Their system tells you to call 1300 375 346 to verify, but you cannot actually get through to do this over the weekend.

​I sent two follow-up emails explicitly DURING their stated customer support hours: ​Monday to Friday: 9 am - 6 pm AEDT ​Saturday: 10 am - 5 pm AEDT ​ I was completely ignored. Several hours went by with absolutely zero communication. With an event to run and no guarantee I would ever receive the items I paid for, I was forced to buy replacement gift cards from a different merchant, who delivered them instantly.

​Then, at 1:31 AM, I finally received an email from Card.Gift. Not offering help, but stating they had simply cancelled my order.

​Even after a legitimate customer offered to hand over full identification to satisfy their security check, their "fraud team" decided I was a threat, ignored me during business hours, and cancelled the order in the middle of the night.

​My recommendation: There are plenty of reliable, instantaneous digital businesses out there. Card.Gift is not one of them. Unprofessional, unreliable, and extremely poor customer service. Stay away.

Stay away from this card if you need to use it quickly takes way to long to activate surly in this day and age you should not have to wait over 2 days they take the money immediately no we're good enough
