Veet hair removal ripoff! – It might have been discontinued as you say but that’s not going to stop me from having my say bout this very poor product and Veet products in general. I put coat after smelly coat of this gunk on my back to rid unwanted body hair, and while it removed some hair after numerous applications it still left clumps. unwanted clumps but all it did was burn my skin while the hair remained. It was hard work reapplying it then getting in the shower again and again to scrub it off, and finding the hair was still there.
Burns like hell leaves bits of hair an spots – This stuff takes patches of hair off , however leaves one looking like one of those hairless dogs with clumps of hair randomly all over your chest and where hair once was are lovely red inflamed spots. Alright if you're into that kind of thing – I was given some Veet for Men Hair Removal Gel Cream as part of a Secret Santa (or Chris Kindle) tradition at my local darts club. However, I am not in immediate need of Veet for Men Hair Removal Gel Cream, as I have full-body alopecia and therefore do not possess any hair of any kind. without much thought, b) a mix-up or c) some sort of cruel joke.
Nonetheless, I am sure the product is very effective for its target market, although it is of little use to me at the present, or indeed in the future. Thus I can only judge it by its packaging, which I thought was very nice. Also, the price seems reasonable.
3 stars. Attractive packaging, lid was easy to open, product did not topple over when stood unaided Wasn't really the product I needed
