Great to use and fit for purpose – I have owned one of these Wahl clippers for over 15 years and it gets used about once a month, which is pretty light use really. Do the math and this shows that the clippers have been used about 180 times so far. I have found that the clippers are very solid and feel like a quality item. The blades are still the originals and are still as sharp as they ever were. To date, I have had no problems at all with the clippers. I do have a couple of suggestions for Mr. Wahl which would improve the produce a little though.

The size written on the combs is hard to read for people with less than perfect eyesight. Larger numbers or coloured combs would be great. Please, Mr. Wall, should you read this, please consider this little issue. Another thing to be aware of is that when using the built-in trimmer, a lot of high pitched noise is generated which is an issue when the trimmer is being used near the ears. It is really too loud to be considered comfortable so this exposure to noise should be limited. The trimmer does tend to pull the hair if it is run over the head too quickly. This is total operator error, not a design fault but people should be aware of this as well.

All in all, these clippers should last decades with minimal maintenance and should please their owners. Wahl make great products and these clippers totally suit a busy household. Quality of manufacture, power and ergonomics Trimming attachment is very noisy

Pretty poor for the price – Bought these for around $100 thinking they would cut better than the cheap Woolies types...what a waste of money. They are just as bad if not worse. I have fairly fine hair and it cuts patchy, uneven and requires going over multiple times to get remotely like a half decent haircut. Not much Poor cutting
