Worked well for 7 years and then failed – This freezer worked well for 7 years, with no complaints. It then developed a gas leak, and the technician advised that it was not economic to fix ($800 to fix on a freezer that originally cost $1300). The same technician advised that problems like this are not unusual, following the manufacturing of these moving to China. Show details
