Westpac Ignite MasterCard Questions & Answers
Does the ignite Westpac credit card have overseas travel insurance
Westpac changed my Ignite into a low rate westpac master card without asking my opinion. Whilst that was ok with me, they sent me a $20 gift card as a reward for "changing". I attempted to purchase a book online with the gift card but it was not accepted as payment even though I followed the instructions given with the card. So ended up saying Thank You for Nothing, Westpac. Have been happy with you for many years but this was unnecessary.
Hi, as account holder ignite mastercard, I got letter of its closure April 2021 and also been offered product transfer into Wespac mastercard. I did not get any reward for changing though and all should have been properly informed.

I've spend $500 on my Westpac Ignite credit card across the three months before 2nd Dec 2020 but I've not received the gift card of $50.00. I've contacted Westpac a few times and they just said they are looking into it. So far no positive response. Today is 24th Mar 2021
What should I do?
John
Is there an annual charge for this credit card?
No, but it's about to be replaced with a "low fee" card.

Is free travel insurance attached t westpac ignite Credit Card
unfortunately NO
I have just tried to buy a travel card overseas and it failed as it said that I am part of a 3D scheme but I would have to validate myself to the bank - what does this mean? Thanks.
I would like to know why I get charged 20% on cash advances were everyone else is 3%
That must be the prevailing cash advance charges, usually 19% or more
because only morons who can't manage their cashflow, or drug dealers use a credit card for cash advances. If you don't like the T's and C's don't use it.
can I get an online copy of my latest statement
yes, you can
I would like to get the latest transaction on my ignite master card?
