I purchased 2 Diamond Lite Frypans from Myer about 18 months ago. We thought we were investing in some cookware for many years of cooking happiness. These are some of the worse non stick fry pans I have ever had. The coating is bubbling off both pans and I have been fastidious about cleaning then as per the cleaning advice. What a waste of money. Purchased a woll fry pan 11 months ago. The cooking surface of the pan has started to bubble, obviously i stopped using it and contacted Woll immediately through their Web page. Not heard anything back at all. Show details
I bought a WOLL Diamond Lite pan specifically because it’s marketed as suitable for high-heat cooking. After normal, careful use — no metal utensils, no harsh scourers, never washed while hot — the pan developed permanent yellow discolouration around the edges. When I contacted WOLL’s customer service, I was told this was likely caused by oil… Read more
residue, and the warranty claim was declined. I provided proof of purchase and photos showing the pan had been well cared for, and asked what specific evidence pointed to misuse rather than a manufacturing or coating issue, but received no clarification and no further response.
If a pan marketed for high-heat cooking discolours from ordinary cooking with oil, that seems like a product limitation, not customer misuse — and I’d expect a warranty process to reflect that. I’m otherwise satisfied with how the pan performs, but the lack of a fair resolution or clear answer has left me unable to recommend WOLL’s customer support.

Agree with review it sticks and also I sent for warranty and no didn’t hear anything from them at all Show details
"Stick pan" – Avoid. Ok for frying onions and veggies, but turns into a "stick pan" once you start frying meat after not too long. Despite following the cooking and cleaning instructions, carbon built up on the base of the pan and the edges started to craze and deteriorate. Pretty much useless after a year. Similar to other reviewers, Woll didn't honour their 3 year warranty. Show details
Worse pan ever – This is an absolutely crap pan, worse than pans from kmart! Coating started peeling after a few months of usage, talked to warranty department and of course they blame you for misusage! Absolute scam and I wish I read the reviews before purchase! I will certainly report Woll to ACCC, such a common issue people are experiencing we should do a class action. Show details

flaking of the coating and are unusable.
I have contacted the Company on multiple occasions, but have not had any joy with them thus far, I have photographic evidence of the damage.
The flaking of the coating, raises serious concerns about product quality but also presents potential health risks. Given the ack of response from your NZ distributor, I contacted the Head Office in Germany and offered to return the items directly to Germany for inspection. I purchased WOLL products because of their reputation for exceptional quality and longevity.
Follow-up · We are no longer using Wolls cookware as this is a very concerning health and safety issue. I have been in contact with the distributor and German manufacturers on multiple occasions with neither wanting to take responsibility for their product
Follow-up · I have contacted New Zealand Distributor in the North Island, multiple times, but email and by phone (either my emails nor have my phone calls been answered). I have contacted Germany by email, through their website, and have received an answer… Read more

Best quality cookware ever – I own wok and a few frypans. Best quality items I’ve ever owned. I always follow all they extremely detailed instructions and never had a problem. I don’t understand some of the reviews ? - physically not possible.! I would recomended Woll cookware all the way , especially for frying sunny side up eggs with no oil. Show details
Good quality cookware – I have had my woll fry pan and wok for just over two years. I have never had a problem with the sapphire lite coating or handles coming loose. We cook on a gas cook topcook and both the fry pan and the wok are still in perfect condition. I love the even heat distribution. I find you don't need to turn the heat to full to cook the food and the heat… Read more
stays in the pan even after it has been turned off. I love them so much I just bought the complete set.
Love these pans – I have had mine for well over a year, I use them all the time and they are the best I’ve owned. I do recommend using separators if you stack them as they will scratch! Show details

I have been a loyal Woll customer for many years and have never experienced any issues with the cookware until recently. My 24 cm Woll fry pan developed bubbles in the non-stick coating, which then started to peel off. I have always taken good care of the pan, never used it over high heat, and have followed the recommended care instructions. … Read more
What disappointed me even more was the way my warranty claim was handled. Initially, I was informed that my claim had been approved and that I would receive a replacement pan. However, this decision was later reversed, and I was told that the damage was caused by overheating. I strongly disagree with this assessment, as I have never overheated the pan.
The inconsistent handling of my claim has been extremely frustrating and has left me disappointed with a brand that I have trusted for many years. I had always regarded Woll as a premium cookware brand that stood behind the quality of its products. Unfortunately, this experience has significantly undermined my confidence in both the product and the after-sales service.

Coating failure after 2 years of very occasional use (maybe once every week or two). Texture is furry and peeled. So disappointing for the price! My IKEA pan lasts the same time with heavier use, my scanpan is 10+ years and still fine. I never use oils, used a thick cloth between pans when stacking - all the things; and it still failed. The handle that comes off is handy but you can get that with a $30 pan also. Do not recommend. Show details
If you could give them no stars I would. They scratch sooo easily with silicone utensils. How I don't know. Absolutely not non stick. Biggest waste of $600. Literally a $5 pan would be better as at least you would save your money. Honestly only buy if you hate cooking Show details

So expensive, so bad. I use induction and these pans (I stupidly bought 2), won't brown or saute unless you heat them up beyond what you really should. But whats the point of a fry/saute pan if it doesn't brown your food? Lost non-stick in no time. Id never buy them again. Show details
I’m really disappointed with this Woll frypan. The non-stick surface has completely worn away despite me following all care instructions – no metal utensils, hand-washed only, never overheated. I expected better durability. Cooking has become frustrating as everything sticks now, and it’s basically unusable. I regret switching from my Scanpan – that was a far superior pan and lasted much longer. I won’t be buying Woll again. Show details
Worst Product and Customer Experience – Misleading ad statement, bad non-stick coating and worst customer service. This $300 non-stick pan lasts shorter than my $20 IKEA one. Contacted customer service and I was advised "we know you are not happy but I don't want to do anything to help the situation. I don't care". Show details
Non stick layer peels off – Purchased the large induction frypan for $200. Non stick layer started peeling after a couple of months, even though we had treated it as per care instructions and used appropriate oils. Woll Australia asked us to send it back for warranty inspection. They rejected the claim, suggesting we had abused the product. I will never buy this product again. Show details
the Worse – please dont fall for what they tell you that they are the best pans, i have spent over $3000 on pots and pans and 2 of them coating peeled off after 6 months and i was told that i put force in my pots. mind you there are for induction, the worst customer service, they are not there to make their customers happy don't believe the warranty as they will make all the excuse possible not to replace your product Show details
Not for the serious cook – I bought two (2) Woll Fry pans and the non-stick surface on both pans has failed. Woll would not honour their warranty. The pans were always cared for, never abused in any way, and were only ever used for domestic cooking. Woll pans are not fit for purpose and at the price you would expect that they would be. Show details
Non stick FAILED – After about 10 mths the coting came off and when I wrote to WOLL and asked for help they told me to go back where I purchased it and when I went back to where I purchased it they told me to go to WOLL. I will NEVER purchase such a high priced item again without reading reviews (which I did not do then) LOVE the detachable handles with they made a better product Show details

Excellent at the beginning - Very disappointing later – we have been using Woll for over 20 years and after about 17 years our non-stick coating gave up. It was always a pleasure cooking with the Woll cookware, also the handle comes off with the press of a button, a great feature that allows the pan to be washed in the sink or placed in the Oven. About 2.5 years ago we had to buy a new set and it had… Read more
to be Woll again. We purchased the Lite version, sauté pan and frying pan combo 28cm for $270. Already after 1.5 years the sauté pan coating started pitting and peeling and we now discovered the same issue with the frying pan. We were very disappointed that the quality has gone down so badly, since the product we bought over 20 years ago lasted about 17 years. Now after our last experience we are not considering Woll cookware again.
Coating failed – Non stick coating peeling after 4 months on both Woll pans. I’ve been through this before with other brands so thought I’d buy premium to see if any difference and Woll is worse. I only use low gas as I’m not into burnt food. We cook all steaks on the bbq. I use olive oil, hand wash and of course only use plastic/silicon utensils. Don’t waste… Read more
your money. Just get cheaper brands like scanpan and replace when they fail. They are lighter, cheaper and I’ve found the non stick will last a few years with correct care.
Agreed with other comments. Poor durability – Have used Woll sapphire and diamond for over a decade. I don’t know why I persist. The handle often comes loose and the screw needs tightening. The diamond coating browns, wears or peels. And becomes sticky after regular use. It does not last for years. Like others, always hand washed and looked after. Show details
Not as premium quality as advertised and no good customer service for warranty – The pot lead was shattered when I took it out of the fridge. The pot was put in the fridge when cold. I contacted them with a phot and they don't cover warranty when you purchase product form thirst party. What a joke Show details
Don't waste your money, replaced under warranty then failed again – Bought 32cm new for 239.95 in October 2018, replaced by retailer due to coating delaminating in March 2020. New pan has been delaminating for 6 months. Only used on natural gas cook top. We were very careful to only use plastic or Silicone utensils and only ever hand washed. Returned to store, staff claimed that we may have used excessive… Read more
heat, didn't clean properly between uses and put in dishwasher. Note manufacturers manual says dishwasher and metal utensil safe. I am really disappointed in this product.
Rubbish – I thought that this would be amazing German technology. The sales assistant was so persuasive that I didn’t even bother with the receipt. After 6 months the surface peeled and I don’t have the receipt to return it. So do yourself a favour and don’t bother with this brand, it’s just rubbish. Show details
Don’t waste $ - new WOLL for induction rubbish vs old WOLL for gas great – I was a die hard WOLL fan with my previous gas stove. I switched to induction and bought the new WOLL. Like others, for such an expensive product, it has failed terribly and I have been extremely careful. My cheaper non stick pan from a catering wholesaler is so much better. Show details
Non-Stick Surface Failed after 3 months – I have returned my Woll Diamond Lite frypan to the retailer as the inner surface is now hopeless. This product is grossly over-rated and is not worth the exorbitant price (even at half-price!) I was told by the shop assistant that I likely applied "fierce heat" to the pan. What? All my cheaper Tefal and Scanpans perform beautifully at the same… Read more
temps. If I can't sear my steak in the frypan without the non-stick surface breaking down, then it's not a frypan. I have a very old Esteele frypan that is still in fantastic condition and it is heated up to "fierce heat" with no problems whatsoever. I doubt my induction cooktop can even produce "fierce heat". Why can't it simply be a faulty non-stick coating? I now have no frypan as it is going back to the manufacturer and have to wait for the retailer "to get back to me".
Such a rip off – This was bought for me as a house warming gift and was over $300, when I contacted the company they said I had heated it up too much. Peeled rubbish. Show details
poor quality – Very expensive for such a poor quality item that will last 6 / 12 months if you're lucky I spent approx quarter of the price on a Tefal 13 piece set and that has lasted beautifully for years Much easier to clean too and doesn't lose it's non-stick surface like Woll Don't waste your money Buy Tefal Show details
