What an excellent example of a gaming system, full 4k gaming and streaming – Full native 4k resolution, Dolby Atmos and beautiful controls. Huge range of games. The only down side is that the battery packs and charge stations seem to be poor quality, but these are aftermarket items at best. Show details

Excellent gaming console – A powerful 4K gaming console. I have been using my Xbox X for a little more than a year. It has been powerful beast. Never had any problem in the games I’ve played including Tekken 7, Forza, FIFA and Assassin’s Creed. More importantly, my girlfriend likes it too! Show details

Great entertainment – I’ve always been a big gamer and this is definitely my sort of console. I love the controllers much more than the ps4 and the games just seem more suited to my taste. Great for tv and movies and the like

Love it – Great unit. Regularly updated. Love the ability to quickly exit games and to run split screen. If you are looking for a gaming unit then this is a must have.

Superb Gaming Console – I’ve been an avid gamer since I was around 10. There have been some classic consoles over the years but I love my One X. The controllers are always comfortable to use, the graphics are amazing with a solid 4K TV, and there are a number of titles which are n absolute job to play. Just imagine if Microsoft had Playstations Spider-Man though! My… Read more

only real negative feedback are the lack of support for wireless headphones for gaming. You’ll need several cables to actually have chats etc. we need full wireless support and for 3rd party headphones such as for Bose.

Also hard drive space, with a lot of games being downloaded from gold, store and many games being huge with even bigger updates. You find yourself going back and forth deleting games to make space. Good thing though is support for external drive.

A beautiful looking console and some decent support from Microsoft when needed.

Excellent, powerful and you can do anything! – This is an incredible consol with a great range of games, fast with quick online gaming and streaming. We use this device to support netflix, foxtel and many other apps and games. Very happy with this purchase and it looks so cool.

Good but not without its faults – I own multiple consoles so I am not a fanboy of one particular console. I have owned the One X for over a year now, and I must say on a whole I am very impressed. The graphic are beautiful and look amazing on my 4K OLED tv. The menus are pretty simple and easy to use, that even my young kids and navigate them. But I feel it is not as easy as the… Read more

PS4. Games are plentiful, and download is easy. I have a GamePass account with a monthly fee, and there are some Exclusives available that you will receive for free. So can't knock that back. As with PS4 you can upgrade the hard drive space by adding a portable USB hard drive. And being a native 4K player I no longer need my dedicated 4K Bluray player in the lounge anymore.

But sadly it is not without its faults as well. I have found at times that my portable hard drive is not being read, and you have to remove it and plug it back in to get it to work. I have had a number of times that I will be happily playing away and all of a sudden the screen will turn black, and the only way to fix it is to remove the HDMI cable and plug it back in. And it can randomly lose your wifi connection and bug out, so you have to do a full shut down and start up before you are able to reconnect it. And the start up time for the console is awful, one reason I mainly only use the sleep mode function. Plus batteries for controllers .... come on Microsoft. I upgraded to the rechargeable battery, and it has made a great improvement.

Overall I really do enjoy the XBOX ONE, and I find I play it more over the PS4 only as it is much much more quiet and native 4K over upscale.

I would recommend the XBOX ONE to anyone, but again like PS4 Pro if 4K resolution is not a must, stick to standard XBOX S :)

Can’t believe I spend over $600 for almost the exact same thing I already had – “4K” “much faster” blah blah blah all rubbish, takes at least 2-3 seconds just to load a message which is identical to the old Xbox one. I have noticed games start round 10-20 seconds faster but that’s it. There is no such hardware upgrade just the fact it can run games %20. Better even though it is far from noticeable except loading screens such… Read more

as gta online which takes 18 seconds quicker to load but far from what I expected. To invite my friend after pressing the Xbox button takes far longer than needed. I promise what you are expecting is the opposite of what you’ll get with this console. Can’t express more how much waiting an extra year or half a year for the new Xbox instead of paying $600 for an Xbox that supports 4K on 5% of games and runs just as slow as the first Xbox released except from load times of games obviously but that 20 seconds is far from worth it.

Unbeatable 4K Experience for the Price! – I have both a high end gaming PC and now just recently, Microsoft's Xbox One X and I am more than impressed with it. One of its main selling points is its 4K gaming capabilities which are shown more to an extent in comparison to the Sony Playstation 4 Pro with less powerful hardware. For its $599 price you will not be able to build a PC [as of… Read more

2018] which can match its resolution while keeping the game at reasonable settings and at 30 FPS. Along with 4K support, the Xbox One X also supports many other desirable features we normally see on the PC Side including HDR, for a wider colour gamete. FreesSync 2 and Dolby Atmos for true sound immersion. The Xbox One X has backwards compatibility with a number of Xbox 360 and original XBOX games meaning it has a very vast game library. While the Xbox One is ridiculed for not having many exclusive games in comparison to the Sony Playstation 4, it's smaller number of exclusives are still great hits. The infamous Halo and Gears of War series are amazing first and third person shooters, the Forza Motorsport and Horizon games are probably the best looking and realistic racing simulators on the market and other games like Ryse Son of Rome, Sea of Thieves, Sunset Overdrive along with any other exclusives will appeal to a certain demographic of gamers. Multi Platform games like Call of Duty Black Ops 4, Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassins Creed Odyssey, Skyrim, Fallout 76 and many other current, past and future multi platform games will always look and perform better on Xbox One X in comparison to other consoles like the Playstation 4 pro because the X has more powerful hardware. The Xbox One X is a very sleek, small and good looking console and even under heavy loads it is still extremely quiet and relatively cool to the touch. The entire Xbox One eco system including the X have a variety of desirable features such as previously said backwards compatibility, Xbox Game Pass which is a Netflix like subscription where a monthly fee is paid in exchange for over a 100 games available for download, Xbox Play Anywhere which allows you to play your bought Xbox One games on your PC and in the future possibly other devices and multiple audio/video console inputs on the back of any Xbox console so you can truly maximise your media/entertainment setup, these along with many other features. At the end of the day its your personal preference as to which type of console you buy but these are just some of the reasons why the Xbox One X is a great purchase, I highly recommend it!

XBOX one x – I recently bought my daughter an xbox one x, she gave us her old one, the one x is so much faster and the older xbox the response and graphics are awesome especially with the new Samsung 4K tv, to be honest I really can't fault it, we have used play station but always go back to the xbox, highly recommend for video games.

Great upgrade on Xbox S – This unit is just so much better than the original Xbox and a step above the Xbox S. Looks good even on a 1080p panel. Highly recommend that this is the unit to get if looking at an Xbox One.

A welcome entry into the series – I picked up my Xbox One X on launch day and I will say that the native 4K on select Xbox One X Enhanced titles have been a real pleasure, coming from primarily PC-gaming. It’s fast, powerful and even plays 4K blu rays. And even while handling so much work, I never hear the fans running.

Great 4K Console – Great console if graphics are important to you and you can afford it. I upgraded from an Xbox One. The One X runs faster and more importantly runs games in 4K. The console is much improved over the original Xbox One. Much smaller and better looking. It generates quote a bit of heat so make sure it's in a ventilated area and not too enclosed. … Read more

Even though it makes a lot of heat it's much quieter than the PS4 and PS4 Pro.

So far there are quite a few games that are enhanced for Xbox One X. I've tried Gears of War 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza Horizon 3 and The Witcher 3. All look great on my 4k TV with HDR on.

I've also briefly tried Oblivion and Fallout 3 (backwards compatible Xbox 360 games) and they look great in 4k. Longer draw distances and much clearer graphics. Worth playing them again.

I'm happy with my purchase so far. This is truly a console worth having to get the most out of a big 4K TV.

Amazing unit, price for features value – I upgraded to this from my original 500gig Xbox one and it has been woth the money. unit is sleeker, half the size, runs cooler, uses less power, looks nicer and thats just the basics. the power of the macjine makes existing games better and with the 4K HDR ability (Hisense N7 55") the picture is amazing. easy to use interface and netflix,… Read more

spotify, skype ect apps make it a multimedia hub as well. 4K bluray playback is awesome. well worth the money if upgrading from original Xbox and good value for home entertainment abilities standpoint.
