Y-Disk Flash Drive for iPhone iPad PC & Android 128 GB

Like and use Y-Disk – I have used Y disk personally and it has work as intended. Transferring photos is simple as can be. Very pleased.
My iMac will not accept it – I plugged it in and nothing appeared. The instructions said, "Be patient." I waited, wiggled it, searched, and gave up after 20 minutes trying to have something appear on my iMac screen. Nil.
Purchased in at eBay for $28.99.
Avoid this product - unreliable Lightning Port detection – I was looking for a USB thumb drive that I could use on my PC, iPad and iPhone. I saw an eBay add for this product and bought 2 128GB drives in the hope I could offload some photos, documents, etc but still have them handy on a small and convenient, multi-port external thumb drive. Only one of the drives Lightning Port can be detected on my iPads and iPhones. The other doesn't work at all. So a 50% failure rate is not a good start.
The Lightning Port on thumb drive that is recognized by the y-Disk App is dodgy at best. The slightest movement causes the app to disconnect the drive. So I rate that as almost a failure. The only success I've had is when I ever so gently lowered the iPad/iPhone onto my desk with all the delicacy of a watchmaker. It worked for a few minutes transferring files. However, I could not use it without any support, so it's pretty much useless for use with a Lightning Port.
Some YouTube-rs have suggested using a Lightning Port to USB adapter to solve this issue. However, in my opinion this defeats the purpose of the advertised "Dual" use.
I have an i-FlashDevice which can use SD and Micro-SD cards. I would suggest this or a "name" brand device.
