Cashback Promo – Not Worth the Privacy Risk Just a quick warning based on my experience with the Zyrtec cashback promo — I bought the product before spring last year and tried to redeem the advertised cashback. The process required way more personally identifiable information (PII) than should be necessary for a small rebate. In the end, I never received the cashback, and I know several others here have had similar outcomes. Show details
Profit has been on promo with rebates many times but it’s false as website doesn’t allow rebates and there is no complaints or email to discuss with anyone. Stooged many times and no will only purchase Others. False advertising Show details
I usually buy Claratyne but thought I would try Zyrtec as they had a cashback offer on their 100 pack. I see that I am not the only customer who is still waiting for their money. My family has almost finished the 100 pack and I wont be buying Zrytec again, ever. Show details
Cashback con – Drug may or may not work but the cash back offers are a con as they never a totally send them Show details
Doggy activities with the last Zyrtec cash back – When I called Zyrtec on 17 Dec 2024 about my cash rebate claim submited earlier, the pre-recorded message said information shared over the phone would be shared with their partners including overseas alliance. When I spoke with the CS, I was asked to provide personal info including email address & phone number to check my claim. Then, I was told… Read more
that my submission was declined; I was asked to resubmit my claim, and it would be processed within 45 days, i.e. by 31 Jan 2025. In early Jan 2025, my security software alerted me that my email address was found added to the dark web on 17 Dec 2024, the same day that I called Zyrtec. I have also received increased number of scam text messages since December 2024. 45 days had passed and I didn't receive the cash back. I didn't want to call again considering the security risk. Today, 62 days since my resubmission, I received a text msg about a cash back reward from True Rewards, which is known for issuing scam gift cards. I don't need any more security risk. I sincerely hope that Zyrtec will look into the company that handles their last cash back and take necessary action, or their reputation would be ruin.
REFUND SCAM – False advertising. No claim received but what else do you expect from a pharmaceutical company, their business is based on lying to the public. Won't be buying this product again. Will go back to natural alternatives that cure the problem and not just treat the symptoms. Show details
Cash back offers – Zyrtec hayfever & allergy users please note you can only claim cash bonus once if you bay second pack ( when you finish your first one ) you can not claim . (1 claim per household , per promotional) Show details
The Zyrtec Con – Purchased zyrtec in October now January 25 and still waiting for $10 card, guessing this was just a con from Zyrtec to buy. Show details
False advertising by Chemist Warehouse and Zyrtec re cashback – I purchased 70 10Mg Zyrtec from Chemist Warehouse on 4 November and have yet to receive the promised $7.00. I think it is false advertising and from the other comments many others think the same thing. I am retaining my docket to take back to Chemist Warehouse and tell them what I think of their offer. The product works well.
Cash back didn't work! – I am a regular user of Zyrtec. Cash back is a good thing . But the digital card didnt work at chemist wearhouse. I sent an email no response. I bought a 100 Pk. Bar code 9300607490381 . Please help! Show details
Nothing but data mining personal details from customers – I've been buying Zyrtec for years and have found it works ok. Not the best, but ok. I saw a cashback offer on the 100 mini tab pack, so I thought why not. Went to the website to get the cashback and the list of questions they ask is ridiculous. What do you need my email address, mobile phone number, year of birth and home address for?? Given… Read more
the number of scams going around at the moment and how tenuous data security and privacy have become, I am shocked that you would ask all of these personal details that are completely unnecessary for a simple cashback. Needless to say, I didn't think a measly $10 cashback was worth risking my data privacy. If this is your way of deterring good customers from claiming money back from you, congratulations. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Great for the Dog, but not for me! – I tried this antihistamine as a substitute to another brand that I had become “immune” to. This just had no effect what so ever. My wife had bought these for our dog who has allergies & the dog reacts positively, but humans not so! Maybe the marketing needs to be changed towards animals? Show details
Did not do the job as advertised – This didn't do the job. Zero difference. I was still sneezing and nose dripping throughout the day. Desonex didn't do the job either. Poor tip on the des's frpm terry white sth melbourne. What does everyone use? There would no doubt be more effective out there. Show details

AWFUL – This Does not work at all don't waste your money.!!!!! Show details
Deceptive advertising – No cashback provided. I was Scammed. Also seems to work less well than loradatine EDIT: was sent a truerewards prepaid cashback card over a month later. Show details
It's not too bad – I have a mild hay-fever. If I eat per example eggplant I end up with itchy rash on my skin so, that helps to get rid of it. I used to buy claratyne which is better value for money. Plus I get $5 cashback which is very helpful in my case Show details
$7 rebate - doesn't happen! – What a pity - I was told I could get a rebate on purchase but it seems to be an absolute scam - should be looked at by the appropriate authority as it was mentioned at point of sale. Show details
Zyrtec Redemption offer bit dodgy – Zyrtec $7 cash back by redemption just a trick to gather personal details. Carefully crafted electronic form rejects redemption and only activates on "donation" to Zyrtec selected charities. Decent product but will now avoid due to dodgy offer. Show details
Gift card scheme is a scam – I purchased a Zyrtec 10mg 70 tabs from chemist warehouse and sent a claim form for $7 discount. When I received the zyrtec gift card in mail and tried to use in Coles, It was rejected. The PIN on the card was not masked and stated that “the card is active and ready to use”. I have tried to call the customer services but their numbers were… Read more
disconnected. This was not the first time the card is invalid. It happened in last two times. NEVER trust this company that they are going to refund to you. Why don’t the company just give us discounts instead. It is just a SCAM.
Cashback a ploy to gain your personal details – Nice to get a discount through chemist warehouse but you have to complete a form with personal details including birth year, address, phone number etc. This is a disguised ploy to buy marketing details. If they wanted to why wouldnt you need only an address. So instead of my Zyrtec 70 tabs purchased from chemist warehouse costing me $22.99 it cost… Read more
an extra $7 being $30.00. That's not to mention the issues with the prepaid cards. Chemist warehouse/ Zyrtec Shame on you!!!!
Zyrtec Cash Back – I did a purchase 3 months ago and received a $7 Gift card. Tried to use it, but was rejected. Tried to Activate the card online, but the site rejected entries. Tried to email them on the problem, but email was bounced. This is pathetic scam and fastest way to loose customers! Show details

Waste of time – I have tried numerous times to activate the card and can't so waste of time and technically false advertising. Getting people to go to the trouble of claiming is one thing but then to send a gift card of $7 that need registering but you can't is not good. don't waste your time people - costs you more than $7 trying to claim.
The best of the over the counter formulations I have tried – When my doctor said I would need to start taking antihistamines to control my allergies I was not compelled to try a specific brand or formulation. So I actually tried the three "main" formulations on the Australian market which are available over the counter ("Pharmacy Medicine"). One brand was completely hopeless, doing nothing at all (but also… Read more
had no side effects). Another brand worked quite well but resulted in an excessively dry throat and had a very short duration of effect - a little over half the advertised 24 hours.
Zyrtec, on the other hand, relieves my symptoms equally as well as that other brand, but with a slightly less dry throat and a much longer duration of effect. Pretty much 20 - 22 hours minimum and in the case of today, the full 24 hours. The only downside to this medication is a slight drowsiness effect but I would much rather experience this than not get adequate relief. In any case, because this was the only formulation I tried that would actually last up to 24 hours, I can simply take it around an hour before bedtime. By the time I have woken up and got myself ready for the day, any drowsiness has disappeared and I know I will still get reasonable relief during the day and even into the early evening.
I guess this will be my "go to "medication for the foreseeable future unless something comes out that works just as well but has no side effects at all!
Believe it Made my Brothers Psychotic – Two of my brothers were on this medication years ago and after several months on it, one of them started hearing voices which got increasingly awful, and eventually those voices told him to kill himself. He didn't, thank god, but what a horrific experience for an 11 year old. The other one had a full blown Psychotic episode where he lost touch… Read more
with reality completely and tried to attack me with a serrated knife in the kitchen. It was awful. There was even this really wrong chemical feeling in the air. If it was just my 2 brothers, I'd be perhaps willing to accept this as a genetic quirk, even though they had never been Psychotic before, the voices disappeared rapidly as soon as they stopped taking this stuff, and there is no history of psychosis in the family. But it wasn't. One of my brothers' non genetically related friends had very similar complaints and apparently another child at his primary school did as well, thankfully the teachers had been warned by then and made sure he stopped taking it. Stay away from this stuff, and especially keep it away from children. As cetirizine is the active ingredient in this I would stay away from other products that use it as well. There are definitely other anti hay-fever drugs on the market that don't use it and I would recommend asking your GP about one.
Magnificent – I have been taking Aerius tablets for the last 5 years or so thinking they were great. I always wondered why I would still sneeze and wake up during the night coughing due to a dry throat. I honestly though Aerius was the best for me. Then I decided to try Zyrtec. They work soooooo well. My sneezing is greatly reduced, I don't wake up with a dry… Read more
throat and coughing fit anymore. I am amazed at this product. I highly recommend if you are allergic to cats. It is working well for my cat allergies. Some may think I'm crazy to have cats when I have allergies. But I can't stay away from these cute, furry little balls of joy with their pointy ears and purrs and kneading!!!
So Zyrtec is WONDERFUL. Stops me from sneezing constantly. I mean I still have the occasional sneeze sometimes, but it has DRASTICALLY improved my symptoms. Also, my nose is clear and not blocked half the time.
Excellent – I cannot live without my Zyrtec. I have suffered from hayfever my whole life and this is the best antihistamine available. When I was a child there wasn't a whole lot I could take (most are only suitable for 12 years and over), and what was available didn't work. Zyrtec are tiny little tablets, making taking them easy. It can cause drowsiness in a… Read more
very small percentage of people, but I have never experienced any. (Interestinly, overseas it is advertised as non-drowsy as the percentage of drowsiness reported in clinical trials was so low.) A good way to avoid problems if you do experience drowsiness is to take it at night; you get to sleep off the effects but the antihistamine will still be active for several hours when you wake. They work quickly against all allergy symptoms - itch eyes, sneezing, runny nose, even hives and swelling. If you have any pre-existing medical conditons or take any other medication you must check with your doctor or pharmacist before commensing treatment. 24 hour relief, small tablets, effective for all allergy symptoms Can cause drowsiness in suseptible people, and is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding
Works really well, although makes me very drowsy! – I have suffered from hay fever and allergies for years now, and have found it hard to find a hayfever treatment that works quickly and effectively but i have to say that Zytec has worked beautifully. I feel relief soon after i take it but it does make me feel very very tired and i usually fall straight to sleep very soon after. I usually take this… Read more
