No customer service – bought a PLANTCRAFT Tiller Rototiller Cultivator from Edisons and 2nd time it was used wouldn't fire have sent multiple emails and only one response for some info and video that was provided so have started a credit card refund

Customer service is through a Philippine call-center.

I Bought 4 of their Industrial Shelving Racks. 1 was damaged beyond repair at their warehouse free of charge by their forklift driver : one of the grumpiest surliest people I've encountered in years.

I've chased a refund for over a year and have given up on them ever honouring their word.

While the other 3 shelves do function, they safely hold only about 1/3 of their full rated weight before the arms start sagging and bowing. The frames are clearly made of a cheap pseudo-steel alloy and are not capable of holding their rated weight.

If it seems too good to be true, it usually is.

Avoid at all Costs.

AGR are now Edisons – Beware A.G.R are now eddison's and they aint much better read the reveiws. A leopard dosn't change its spots. You have to go trough hoops to get ant sense out of them if a problem with the goods. They want all the responsibilities of return even after photos&videos are sent showing the problem ,just a stall tactic

Chainsaw leaking fuel – Bought an SX62 chainsaw. When I filled it with fuel it started leaking at the joint between the tank and the handle. in Sydney, I quizzed him about the repair. He told me the workshop had split and resealed the tank. I said okay, send it back. When I received the parcel I was a bit suspicious as it smelled strongly of petrol. They had not drained the fuel before sending it back. The "repair" involved clumsily applying what looks like clear nail polish to the bottom seam of the tank. Fuel still leaked out of the over the top and back of the tank. They hadn't tried the manicure repair there as it would have been too obvious. The tank/handle assembly has no screws holding it together and it looks to me like it comes as a unit, bonded together in the factory. I doubt it is feasible to repair. When I reported it was still leaking, they said to return it again. The problem is they want me to pay for the postage. I have asked for a full refund, had enough. Waiting to see what they do about it. Never even started the saw, let alone cut a log. I will buy small stuff on eBay but never anything big like this again.

Bought pressure washer today and it's such a disgusting scam – I have to say, all the people in line to buy an item was talking to me in a very disappointing manner in regards to their faulty products. Crap..would buy again and always read reviews before buying products – Had bought a treadmill from this company via eBay. Worked the first day and stopped working from the second. Never buying any items. Should have read the reviews. Defective Welding Machine – I bought 1 Rossi Welder Inverter 200Amp Welding Machine TIG ARC MMA DC WSM 200 last Nov.27,2016, I was able to use the machine for a while and last Sept.,2017 it suddenly stop. Edisons / AGR Machinery / 3 phase / single phase / Generator is absolute garbage – I bought a generator from this mob and it does not deliver what they stated in the ebay advert. The circuit breaker trips under the lightest load and falls well below the advertised specifications. Absolute junk and I would never recommend buying anything from them at all. I called the service centre for a replacement fuel tap and the overseas call centre was completely useless. The person I was speaking to could not even find the model number of their product. Keep Clear of these guys!

Bad Customer Service – We purchased a generator and it exploded on it's first use. Edison's are now saying that they can't guarantee a refund and they are refusing to pay for the return freight for them to assess the product. August 30th 2017 Update: Look at AGR Machinery - Disgusting Customer Service

AGR Machinery is run by Edisons and if you look at their reviews, their rating is extremely poor. Probably the worst I've ever seen. Edisons closed down that division as it says it is no longer operating. However, our purchase details still state AGR Machinery but for correspondence they now use the name Edisons as they probably couldn't recover from all of the bad reviews.

If you have a problem, they WILL NOT fix it.

Disgusting customer service – This was working perfectly until tonight but when inspected I found this on the bottom of the tray. I think its the decompression valve lever on top of the rocker cover which has snapped . Pictures enclosed. Fault finded Everything... even as per their manual (you have to print out yourself?) checked Spark plug gap, swap, reset back to factory settings the mixture screws (L H)... etc etc etc... Absolutely crazy service and trash product – Bought a house that has a Macerator pump. The fitted pump broke down and the plumber replaced a pump bought from this mob. The thing broke down in 3 months and then got replaced and the new pump lasted 6 weeks. They will not send any technician in and they will not replace anything. $1,200 down the drain. NEVER DEAL WITH THIS MOB. I am unsure how ACCC allows unscrupulous businesses like this to operate.

Perfect and best priced tools and equipment – Being a tradie and just started up just over a year ago. I bought some tools off Edison's and they have been great.

Two lemon framing guns in a row – Needed a gas-powered framing gun to make frames and trusses for a family room I'm putting on my home. nail every five minutes. Complained and sent it back for repair, at my cost. AustPost lost it for 10 days on the way there. Edisons checked, repaired and returned the gun. Guess what. Same problem. One nail each five minutes. Meantime I resorted to hammer and nails - after spending over $100 on gas and framing nails for the gun. Got back on to Edisons via a direct phone number I have for the company in Seven Hills NSW - not the Philippines call centre. They paid for the second return and I insisted on a new gun - NOT a replacement. A week later I received the new gun, and guess what. SAME PROBLEM. One nail every five minutes. I got back on to them via email and blasted them and asked for a return authorisation (again at their cost) and they agreed to take it back and give me a full refund for the gun and a spare battery I had also purchased from them. I told them that I will be claiming compensation for the nails I had to buy to do the job whilst they had my gun - twice - and also compensation for the 3,000 nails and three gas cells I bought elsewhere to use but are now surplus to requirements as I will no longer have a nail gun. I've also told them I will be taking them to Fair Trading under Australian Consumer Laws for that compensation. Caveat emptor. Avoid Edisons and all its other brand name affiliates like the plague.

Sent back motors only at their expense. Motors have been returned in box with no covering letter or explaination. Have tried countless times to contact, but nothing. This has been happening since Jan 2015.

It was a Xmas present, so the child hasn't had the use of it, really disappointed, know MyDeals is the meat in the sandwich, but maybe they need to deal with reputable companies. An update, after VERY little use, bike had stopped working again. Am throwing to tip.

An independent engineer has since assessed the machine and is amazed that their 'technicians' could not understand what was wrong with it - anyone with half a brain could have worked it out. They are unethical, untrustworthy and their warranty is not worth anything. They know their way around the loop holes of consumer law and if you purchase from them you will just blow your money.

What a pile of rubbish your lawn mowers are total rubbish useless only good for paper weights – Buy a lawn mower happy to take your money when it stops working while being under warranty they turn offer no help except for highlighting the fact that sending the mower back at my expense become argumentative so warning don't waste your money on the machinery or the company.

returned the buggy (at my expense) to their warehouse for assessment by their "trained technicians", but I risked them keeping the buggy and demanding a service fee in addition to the money already wasted based on their return policy as part of their restrictive 12 month warranty, so I kept the useless thing and am now $400 out of pocket. I see they are now advertising the same thing for nearly $600! Beware these rogues. I bought from MyTopia on EBay, but their technical people's email was from AGR Machinery, so all part of the same group. Chainsax SX82 24" loose chain – Straight out of the box, the chain was tensioned to almost the maximum amount, as I wasn't sure how much slack to leave. cordless lawnmower – purchased the above through ebay. received product, part missing. Rang them. Want photograph of product even though they had manuals . Sent message through ebay. terms. Now they are claiming that the auger failed due to 'misuse' and are asking me for $185 to repair it plus $70 to send it back to me!! They hold the cards as they have the item in their warehouse. I have started a dispute claim with paypal which hopefully gets me somewhere as after multiple emails with Edisons customer relations they are not interested in offering a refund or even sending the item back to me at their cost.
