Please be aware that as of 2nd of December 2020 a number of Toyota Hilux Diesel vehicles are being recalled due to a brake booster issue.

My 2011 SR had zero problems, it was bulletproof all the way up until sale at 340,000km. SR5 2022? So far had a starter motor leave me stranded, 1 timing chain replaced, and now suspension making creaking noises. I wouldn't buy another Hilux, been quite disappointing. They're built to a price nowdays. And a cheap one The transmission has been… Read more

good though, can't fault that. Otherwise, it's a pretty average ride. Nothing fancy, I bought but because they're supposed to be reliable, though that hasn't been the case

Ordered a reverse sensor from the dealer to replace one that I damaged. Turns out the original sensor was still serviceable. Went to return the sensor, and the dealer said Toyota Australia policy is no returns on electric items. Email Toyota Australia, they didn't answer my inquiries, told me to contact my dealer. I rang Toyota Australia about… Read more

their return policy, and they told me there is no refunds, even after I offered to pay a restocking fee and freight. The packaging is unopened. They told me to keep the part for a spare... They had no interest in helping me out after I explained the situation, not even interested in a partial refund. This situation is my fault, but I am shocked by Toyota's lack of charitability. Buyer beware.

Roller Cover CSE: Toyota knew about the fault and still charged me to fix it Bought a 2023 HiLux Rogue for commercial use. The electric Roller Cover started malfunctioning — exactly the fault described in Toyota Australia's own Customer Service Exercise (CSE) issued in July 2024, affecting 14,032 HiLux Rogues produced between May 2020 and November… Read more

2023. Here's what makes this worse: Toyota never contacted me about the CSE. Not by SMS, email, or mail — nothing. So when the cover failed, I had no idea it was a known manufacturer defect. I took it to Nunawading Toyota, paid $99, and they handed the car back in worse condition than it arrived — completely inoperable. I filmed it failing the moment I stepped outside the service centre. When I contacted Toyota's Customer Assistance Centre, they told me in writing there was "no outstanding recall" on my vehicle. That directly contradicts their own press release. The Roller Cover motor can overheat and continue running, draining your battery and potentially leaving you stranded. Toyota calls this "may cause overheating." I call it a safety issue they buried in corporate language. Vehicle unusable for over a month. Real commercial losses. Now at VCAT (Case C2236/2026). If you own a HiLux Rogue, check your VIN against the CSE range: https://pressroom.toyota.com.au/PressRelease?pr-code=4d013a7a-50d5-408e-80ad-ebb0efe01155 Don't wait for Toyota to contact you. They won't.

A bitter disappointment, glad I didn't buy it personally! – I love the look of the ute. It has good space for the rear passengers as well. The interior is reasonably well appointed. The media/ infotainment is lacking although it has great sound. The 2.8 turbo diesel puts out a reasonable amount of power on the power setting, on ECO it is gutless for only a minuscule improvement to economy! It couldn't tow… Read more

the skin of a rice pudding! I use it as a work vehicle and I regularly tow a trailer with a scissor lift on the back of it. When this is the case even on the power setting it will barely tow up hills! It has what it calls adaptive cruise control that works off a camera system. The cruise control does not keep you at the set speed always accelerating past the speed which has been set and it does not slow the vehicle down actively like ALL other adaptive cruise control systems on the market! This has the WORLD'S WORST adaptive cruise control system and what's more they've put it in many of their other Toyota models and it is just as crap! The driver's seat has a jacking up and down function but it does not stay up at the seat height you set. It has pressure sensors in all the seats so that it sends a seat belt warning every time there is weight on the seats even without an actual person and then it sends you the most annoying constant beeping sound ever that never really stops! You have to physically plug in every seat belt for the noise to stop driving you insane! In the past I have always loved Toyotas and have owned many, even Hiluxes! This generation of Toyotas proves they are riding on an old reputation they no longer deserve! It is the worst I have driven! My 1978 Corona was miles better than this and so were all my other old corollas and coronas over the decades and the older model Hiluxes. It's time for Toyota to get back to where they started and stop relying on old glories that do not belong to this generation!

Not fit for purpose of hard working Tradie – Im a Plumber. Comfortable. Nice aircon Good steering lock. Nice electrics. Thirsty as my 1993 landcruiser diesel Rear suspension absolute rubbish. It sags so much Its dangerous to get the trailer on and off. I have to use the jack. The springs aren't fit for tradie purpose. Absolutely love it – I went with the hi-rider single cab, bought 2nd hand from Queensland, for my everyday car in rural NSW, 3ry 60,000 km's in absolutely immaculate condition, like brand new, I drove up in freinds Rav, as I just sold my 15 year old Corolla ascent, the unladen 6 hour ride back was great on the highway, even on back roads it is no where near as bad as… Read more

some reviews make out, and it is not harsh, it used 8L / 100km, and that was with A/C on ,I now have so much room for my kayak, bicycle, straw for the chooks, fire wood collecting, I love being up high, and love having a manual again, more fun to drive than an automatic, I love that is has no carpet to get in a mess with leaves and dirt, yay, so if your not a tradie this review is for you.

reliable and cheap to maintain. 2005-2006 models are the go to for reliability – great car and has been quite reliable. have replaced a few things but its to be expected with a 15 year old car. starter motor has been doing its job for 15 years and almost 300k. easy to understand why it's the most popular ute in Aus. very cheap on fuel! use about 11 litres per 100km fully loaded car is used for camping, travelling and… Read more

48V auto is a nice upgrade – Upgraded from a 2022 SR5 manual to a 2024 SR5 48V Auto. Feels like a completely different motor under the bonnet, goes fantastic with no lag at all (manual was annoyingly laggy at low speeds when loaded up). Not sure if it’s just the change from going from manual to auto but it’s just so much more responsive and torquey. I use it for work so… Read more

loaded up with around 400-500kg extra.

48V system fires the engine up instantly if you wish to use the stop start. Only annoying this is that the engine fan seems to run quite a bit so it’s a little noisy at times. Not sure if it’s a 48V system thing or just the jump from manual to auto for the transmission cooler).

I like the basic interior of the Hilux, hard wearing and I think it’s not as ancient as what car reviewers make it out to be (had the new BT50 and thought that was horribly cheap feeling inside, hated it).

Only thing is a wish you could spec vinyl flooring in the SR spec in the SR5.

And the stock sound system is absolutely horrendous. Zero stars for that.

And a wireless phone charger without wireless CarPlay. Zero stars again. Although a $100 wireless Aerpro usb dongle works great.

Toyota Hilux 2021 should I get one – I have driven a Toyota Hilux for my work (Chemical Sales Representative for just over 210,000kms now and here are a few good and bad points. The Good Ok on fuel with 700kms per tank mostly highway driving OK on power but don't expect it to go like a sports car but it will tow a 300kg box trailer and you will hardly notice, load the tailer with… Read more

700kgs and you'll definitely not beat much off the lights , some push bikes will be faster to 30km/hr . I have always advocated for a small V8 in Hilux. Good brakes when unloaded , only adequate when heavily loaded and towing a trailer Top Speed unloaded is 180-185 km/hr stock std and anybody that says theirs goes faster is full of it or it was downhill or it was modified somehow. Steel Bullbar from Toyota is great, looks mean and provides heaps of front clearance and places to mount spot/driving lights which are a absolute requirement if long country night time miles are to be travelled. Good for 4 big blokes as long as front passenger and driver aren't 6ft 4 and need their seat way back. Then the rear foot room is only adequate. 5 big blokes is a squeeze in the back for sure. Solid tray back is great for security and locks securely BUT when Items slide forward towards the cabin its a "pain in the bum" to retrieve these items. Entertainment system - OK and the sound is pretty good Seat warmers are great during the day (read absolutely stupid section below) The Bad Tyres- supplied standard are road going, very average tyres (yes that is the correct spelling for my US friends we are NOT talking about the vehicle being exhausted "tired" ). Replace these with Faulken WildPeak ATs (all terrains) tyres as these have far better grip o the road wet or dry and have some reasonable ability off road (not that I have done much really) but they dont get bogged at the first sign of wet dirt like the standard rubbish tyres do !!! Brakes- are OK for carrying moderate loads but at the maximum loaded capacity the brakes need to be MUCH bigger as standard under full load simply lack power although they have never faded on me I dont drive it like a Porsche on back country roads either Bonnet/Hood - weighs a "friggin" tonne when you open it. Why on these expensive utes they cant have gas struts fitted to the bonnet/hood amazes me. This really sucks when in the counrty and you need to fill the water bottle to clear bugs from the windscreen a few times on long trips. ABSOLUTELY STUPID SEAT WARMER SWITCH - do not have an illuminated push button so at night you fumble around for the button and then dont know if the top button is the drivers seat or its the bottom button. This I found in the not so cold climate of Australia to be a real pain in the butt so it will be a HUGE annoyance for those in colder climates. WARNING LIGHT FOR FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG - Yes there is this absolutely STUPID light on the dash to tell you that the passenger airbag ISN'T ON how Crazy stupid IDEA Toyota . remove the light and use its for the seat warmers to indicate 1. here's the location for the button here's the "left" and here's the right. HANDBRAKE -worst/weakest handbrake of ANY car I have ever driven in 40 years absolute utter trash Toyota this is by a lightyear the worst feature of the car. It does NOT hold the car on a moderate incline unless it is reefed on extremely hards and yes I have had it adjusted at service multiple times. Thankfully the PARK stop in the auto gearbox appears to be indestructable. Would I buy another Hilux Diesel SR5 - Yes but hopefully with more power . better brakes a handbrake that works AND NO STUPID PASSENGER AIRBAG OFF LIGHT. :) 210,000 KMS mostly highway driving, only normal service parts and adjustments except new front brake rotors and pads at 200,000kms service. Otherwise not a spanner on the car

Best car ever – 2017 SR 4x4 given to me as a work vehicle. Apart from the usual DPF issues which were fixed by Toyota under warranty, the car has given 430,000 trouble free kilometres. No rocket ship, but gets 8.8L/100KM average. Was interested to see how a so called "highly strung" modern diesel would handle long term use, but at 430,000km I'm pretty sure its bullet proof. Eventually get it going , put foot flat to floor while cranking and comes to life. Update- factory recall done on fuel pump replacement inside tank. Hasnt played up since being replaced.

I use it for medium duty work and towing a 2 ton trailer occasionally on highways but dont flog it . Nice and easy to drive and i find it reasonably comfy for long day drives. I carry extra weight in tray to reduce the bumpyness of it when tray is empty. The headlights are excellent at night , no need for spot lights as factory lights are bright enough on high beam. 2.6m factory tray is handy at times and has removable sides. I think they are over priced for what they are but all Toyoto’s commercials are expensive compared to the other brands. Overall im happy with it despite the issues.

This is the worse vehicle I have ever had and it’s a lemon. Would never buy another Toyota – Where do I start….. we had to get the seat cover replaced for the drivers seat as it started tearing after 6 months ….we bought the car new and had all the services done by Toyota. top gear they even went for a drive with us so we could explain and show them and they saw there was a problem…. Their fix was oh we got another workmate ute to do the same thing…. not normal and didn’t want to help us as this is not normal speaking to many other mechanics. We have had continual conversations with them about the high rev and not changing gears, still not wanting to help or do anything about it. About a week ago we had the smell of burning electrical wire smell and then some haze smoke to which a week later after this occurred a few times during the week the whole display/radio screen system crashed and no longer works to their reply oh we’ve never hd this happen before and it will take 4-6 weeks. So I have no radio or reverse camera for all this time whilst I wait for a replacement. If there was a site for lemon cars this one would be on top.

Very average ute – I have a 2022 4WD Hilux SR, and I must say it's a very average ute considering its high price. It has the worst fuel economy compared to other utes I have owned and driven. Additionally, I don't believe it should be called a 4WD since everything underneath the body is exposed. On one occasion, a stick ripped the return line from the tank, causing… Read more

fuel to flow out and grease everything underneath the body. It even seeped onto the rear axle and eventually reached the wheels, making them very slippery. This resulted in a big slide that almost caused a fatal accident. So, if you drive this vehicle, be sure to check your return lines. On a separate occasion, the stick ripped the ABS wires on the rear axle, triggering a bunch of warning lights on the dashboard and causing the speedometer to malfunction. Fortunately, I wasn't far from home at the time. Should these kinds of issues happen to a 4WD ute with such a reputation? I highly doubt it. Sticks causing such damage? Seriously?

2017 single cab Toyota Hilux workmate – This ute looks great and handles ok. But as for the fuel economy it is a peice of crap. I drove to Canberra from Young and back which is about 360 KMs in total and it cost me around $75 - $80 return. For a 4 cylinder vehicle you should be doing that distance for around $38 - $40 return. Arrived early in January 2022, and apart from the stock tyres, it is a well fitted out ute. I'm not that nice to my vehicles in that if i get in them dirty so bit it, so it has done a lot of long drives, including The Cut Line out to Cameron corner.

Yes the roller shutter on the tub isn't great, but when you buy them, you assume they won't be perfect. Under rain and light dust its great, many hours on dusty roads, well it fills up over time. I keep it full with a tool box, and various safety gear for work, in case i need it, handy to have it locked up. And i do like the inverter in the centre console, was quite handy on my big trip having a small fridge in the front with me :)

My only real gripes are that the DPF burn button should be activated so that if you are entering a paddock you can burn off before you go into long grass. I had them enable it, but it hasn't ever worked and is still automatic. Next if you get the nudge bar, check the mounts, they are quite poor quality and tarnish to the point of rust over time, i had mine replaced under warranty, no issues of course.

but more usually 11 or 12km. That relates to 800km per tank. Very happy with that. It works on the farm all day, and then takes the family in comfort to wherever they need to go. Sure, 4wd might come in handy once in a while, but I saved $30,000 on the purchase price, and find the great ground clearance allows me to get to 90% of the off road destinations anyhow. Great engine. Plenty of towing power. Smooth gearbox. Rack and pinion steering so it drives like a car. I have replaced the alternator, air conditioner compressor, and the radiator over the years. Still looks and goes great so i won't be replacing it anytime soon.

My latest fuel up was 392 ks for 37.2 litres. I find the Ute comfortable, quiet, easy to get in and out of. Good but not without faults and beware - the diesel particle filter – INTRODUCTION This is my third Hilux and in some ways it is perfect and in others, frustrating and a disappointing on minor but annoying stupid items. Would I buy again - yes provided dpf was rock solid. BACKGROUND Bought an ex gov 4 year old with only 65,000km from QLD Toyota dealer and transported to Vic. Single cab SR auto 2.8l diesel with… Read more

aftermarket tipping unit to Toyota tray. I wanted the tipping tray. Middle of COVID and got a bargain. Immaculate , scratch free but only minor wear on seat. Fitted with window tint to reduce UV and aftermarket bullbar and winch by myself.

PURPOSE Used for REAL farm work - lugging and tipping heavy logs and firewood. We are talking full 1 tonne loads often. Not a city show pony or 4wd thrasher.

DISCLAIMER I review based on intended use and do not bag obvious shortcomings if they are, well obvious, to the buyer. Example: I desperately needed the extra cab to carry chainsaws but I bought a single cab so I can’t complain. Used almost daily.

THE GOOD

DOES IT DO THE JOB? YES For its intended job - it is perfect. Great in mud and wet hills and no issues lugging serious load and towing 650kg hydraulic splitter most days.

4WD. I loved my 04 Ute but alas 2wd. Bogged in wet grass! This Ute has got in and out of wet rutted paddocks, steep mountains gravel driveways with ease. Bogged once with swamp with full load and got out with winch. I don’t abuse my Ute but it is a farm Ute. It earns it keep.

DRIVING Very easy to drive. Great visibility. AC works well (only single cab). No Apple play but links to phone via AV ok. Cruise the Hume all day Melbourne to Sydney in comfort. Very comfortable seats (compared to 2004 unit) and at 56 I need them. However they don’t recline much in single cab. Not perfect. Seat is cloth and worn on-drivers side. Bought seat covers but impossible to fit assent wires under and not much room. AC chilled glove box works well but a bit small.

THE BAD

THE DREADED DIESEL PARTICLE FILTER I knew the 2017 diesel engine had the dreaded dpf issue and took a punt after much review and that Toyota said “not a fault but we do extend warranty “. Day 1 after delivery from QLD on truck, I drive it home - DPF light is on and it was clogged. Took for long drive at 110km as instructed by local Toyota dealer and - still clogged. Thankfully my local Kyneton Toyota dealer in VIC took it and a week later, fixed it at Toyota expense. I believe this would have $3000! Lesson: keep in good with your dealer as fault exists and they will fix it you ask politely but firmly.

THE DISAPPOINTING

FUEL USE whoa it sucks the juice! Going from a 2.8 petrol on Lpg at $45 a tank to $130 in diesel! Even on highway cruise , not loaded - it is not frugal. Those driving a Rugged X show pony as a commuter car are nuts. 6 speed auto is hopelessly behind ford’s 10 speed as is the engine. Once I would have said - “but you get Toyota reliability “ but refer DPF. Advice : if fuel economy matters - look elsewhere or wait for 2024 new model as this engine is 2016 tech. Personally, my use is short local trips 50km return so I can survive.

TOUCH SCREEN Very flat, so very touchy, and glare catching. I. The wrong light hard to read.

THE UGLY

BUZZZZZZ! To any Toyota designers reading this - why all the bloody buzzers!!!

Put tools on the passenger seat - buzz! Need to lock in seat belt. Get dirt on belt. Pass. Drivers Seat belt not on - ok but at least allow so leeway to travel a paddock at 15km without having to belt in each time.

And the big buzz….

Turn off car and open driver door with keys in ignition- buzz! Every single time!!!! This means - opening gates, stop and check the rear load or paddock conditions, open to get a drink or check phone, buzz buzz buzz. Perhaps I am stupid but if I can turn this off - please tell me!!! This ignition key buzz is especially stupid as it is locked by the key button so unlike my 04hilux, I cannot lock the keys inside if I tried.

REAR CAMERA it’s very poor to useless. Add shade or sun and it’s crap. About to replace. My wife’s Subaru for $20k less is incredible. Really?

ZOMBIE HEADLIGHTS Lights are ok for the job but there is no off switch! It’s either Auto, Parking or On. Why is this bad? If you drive into shade under trees , carpark, shed, even clouds and lights are on. And they stay on if you turn car off until you open the door. So get a call and pull over under tree and turn off car - lights are on but you don’t know it because you didn’t turn them on.

Again Toyota all you needed was an off point on the switch stick. Case in point - I had to replace battery on arrival after two days on truck with keys in ignition drained it. They obviously jumped it so I didn’t know till day 2 at tinting shop after overnight park.

DASH LIGHTS illuminating ac and other minor controls are low down and weak , to near illegible with sunglasses on. I guess all the power is diverting to the zombie headlights.

OVERALL It does the job I want very well and I can live with the flaws but a “farm mode”” setting would be great. Remember farmers? Those who buy heaps of Hilux ‘s? As a workhorse it’s great , as an expensive dual cab version ? …I would be looking hard at the competition until new model comes out.

And yes a hybrid small EV/ diesel would be excellent for us farm workers doing short trips.

360k and Hilux still going strong – Toyota just don't make them like this anymore.! We've had this Toyota 2008 hilux from 60k as an ex blue mountains council ute. D4D 3.0Td dual cab. It's been everywhere, Gibb, Finke ,Birdsville you name it. Beaches aswell. It's been very well maintained ,but hell it just keeps pulling. And haul it does 2T anytime. 360k on the same engine, sure… Read more

it's had new fuel rails and injectors etc but all the required stuff is done. Toyota clutches aren't the best either. Replace that. No DPF filters or modern rubbish ,just core 4wd stuff. Fit them out the way you want. More electronics in the 2023 stuff is more to go wrong Parts are pretty easy to get aswell ,it might be expensive but it lasts.. HILUX ...try and break one.

VERY BAD FUEL ECONOMY – Only got this a few days ago and have already used a 1/4 of a tank for 100km traveled, freeway and suburbs (No traffic and not pushing it hard at all) . Thats a whopping 19km per 100km. Absoloutely disgusting especially when Toytoa say you should get around 10km per 100L. And this is for the 4 cylynder with NO load on the back. Just the tray.… Read more

This is my first ever Toyota and if the fuel economy stays like this it will be my last.

Auto transmission seems to be a bit all over the place as well.

The Little Things Let you down, Poor Workmanship, – Over all its ok, But not what I would expect for a Toyota, The price is over the top from new. The electrics always playing up, especially in the wet. Cant keep front end wheel aligned no matter what, Suspension is rubbish from day one, After 40000 totally destroyed, Empty most the time. Whats standard in Dmax and most other vehicles is extra in… Read more

Hilux. FUEL IS CRAP, Plastic from engine bay to all other parts of the vehicle become brittle after 3 years, crack break. Auto sluggish, cant make up its mind. Front rotors are horrible, bad vibrations when going down hill from day one...Normal apparently, Next Time a Dmax

BUYER WARNING - DO NOT BUY A HILUX SR 5 – I'm the unfortunate owner of a 2021 Hilux SR 5 Dual Cab, my car has a vibration at approximately 850rpm. I've taken it to two different dealerships trying to get this issue resolved only to be told that the level of vibration is normal for my model/year. I've contacted Toyota guest experience only to be fed the same nonsense as the dealer. TOYOTA DOES NOT STAND BY ITS PRODUCT, DO NOT BE AS STUPID AS ME AND BUY A TOYOTA HILUX SR5 Show details

Vzn167r dual cab great car – Great truck. Drives a bit like one to. I use mine on and off road. Never lets me down. Great on the beach, gravel roads and climbing up and down harsh terrain. The rear end is a bit loose on bitumen especially when wet. So you drive to the conditions. It’s very versatile, Carries loads all day every day. Not great on fuel, I get about 400k on a 60 litre tank. The v6 makes short work of overtaking though. Very reliable. Show details ·  1

You can't beat a toyota !!! – I have a 2014 hilux diesel auto which is always serviced by Toyota service dealer bought it at 30000 now done 144000km . I also have a 2021 sr5 cruiser purchased new done 30,000km and it is primo . I don't let it idle and Both I drive hard ...thats what they like !! Some negative reviews where people do not get toyota to service them then you… Read more

will get problems. If you drive like a snail you will have a problem with dpf filter clogging or town driving only..... is the same ...all the instructions say when dpf light comes on regeneration in certain models then min 80km hr for min 45 min ...do people listen ....Nooooooooo This is not just for toyota this is all brands of diesels ...90% of the time don't blame the vehicle .....trade in the driver !!! and don't put Gull diesel in your hilux .....only do that if you want engine problems and lack of power ... Then you get some clowns that say it slides in wet all utes do ...put 4 sandbags in back it will drive like a different vehicle ... The rotors will warp if you wash it while still hot so don't do that So if your a grandad driver or you only drive around town that are short runs don't buy a diesel.... buy a petrol.......because all late model diesels don't like to be treated this way . You only have problems also if it's been serviced by a donkey . Toyota service from New its cheap don't be a tight crap ....hehe Face facts thats why toyota is number one ask any toyota driver on the road that doesn't drive like a snail and doesn't do around town driving only .. I am a dealer and I sell a different brand of diesel .... Fiat Ducato and they are identical to the hilux...(respect them and they respect you ) but we always educate the owners of the correct operation .

Should have listened to dad! – After owning a 2021 workmate, I decided to upgrade to the 2022 Hilux duel cab 4x4 so I could ferry the family around. I cannot fault this car mechanically, it’s powerful, quiet and returns 8.5lt/100km. The only negatives are the internal finishings scratch way too easily, the rides a bit rough without weight and the turning circle is terrible. All are small trade offs for just how good everything else is! 9.5/10 car for us. Show details

The fuel consumption is really bad – I bought a brand new Hilux 2.7 petrol 2022. I fit a full-size canopy on the back of the tray. I've been able to Only Drive 350 kilometers with one full tank of around 60 liters. I went to Toyota and I said to them your car has faulty but they said because of the canopy your fuel consumption jumped higher. Before I decided to buy this car I check… Read more

the specification and it said an average of 9.8L to 11.8L per 100 kilometers. The reality was over 16L per 100 kilometers. I sold my car straight away.

Not such a great work ute – Work ute for trady to carry tools and parts from base to work sites. This ute is used 5 days a week traveling aprox 120 kms per day. My company purchased the car in April this year brand new so it has only had its complementary service so far. We will have it serviced as per log book. The driver noted that the hand brake warning alarm sounds… Read more

regularly as the zipped fabric cover on the base of the handbrake holds the leaver up a little so it does not disengage the alarm. The gear box is clunky between gears, and the motor very thirsty.

Manual Gearbox + Tub = Fuel Efficiency – Comparing my current 2021 2.8L Workmate 4x4 manual with the previous 2019 2.4L automatic I had. Auto model had aluminium tray and I never saw less than 12L/100km....14L/100km was the norm. My current Workmate regularly returns 8.4 to 8.9L/100km with the worst being 10.1L/100km. I put the difference down to the manual gearbox and the tub… Read more

body....oh, and having tyres to 40psi makes a markedly difference in bringing the fuel efficiency towards the 8.4L/100km figure.
