1 ESCAPE  · Terrible ! Caused irritation to the throat, and abrasive burn to the tongue.
1 R Pool  · Twisties are a shadow of their former selves. With little flavour and no cheese personality
3 Sue A  · I love Twisties but the last few packets I have opened have been stale……not good enough! Would appreciate a reply….
1 Claire C.  · Skinnier,, much less cheesy, will not buy them again. This is not gradual. I bought them a few months ago, and they were fine. Never again.
1 John K.  · A bag of rubbish. Something changed and these are horrible. Go back to previous recipe. Flavourless crunchy cardboard.
2 sis  · Stale flavourless and like chewing on packing peanuts what a crap snack

This is our 2nd box of twisties and they are stale and tasteless. Cardboard would be a better description. Our family has eaten twisties for many many years but we will not bother to buy another packet. So disappointed! Show details

Not satisfying – I think it’s been years since twisties tasted good. The taste isn’t intense enough. Needs to be cheesier . Show details

Best twisties packet in last 10 years – I have only had twisties on and off over the last 10 years because they were not the same though they were always my favourite. My daughter purchased a packet for me whilst on baby sitting duties and they were delicious and back to good old school flavour and texture, needless to say I consumed the lot. Not sure why they were so good but hopefully… Read more

company can look at batch number and check it out. Get those orange fingers and taste back….up the cost if you need to.

All things in life change, some for the better – I still love twisties and I’m 64. Some say they have changed in taste, but as we age all things taste different. When we were kids we craved lollies and sugar, now we avoid them like the plague. Twisities have changed in taste, and I think for the better. So if you’re not happy with them, don’t buy them and move on with your life. Show details

Twisties – I have changed my review on Twisties as I see they have changed back to the original recipe and taste like the original Twisties once more! I bought a bag recently and am pretty impressed with them once more. Keep up the good work ! 19/1/26

Smith's seem to be hellbent on destroying everything they own; particularly if it's Australian. It's good to know that if Smith's make it, I'll avoid it like the plague, so that's a time saver I guess... Show details

Twisties were my all time life long favourite of 60 years !!! Then they let their marketing people get involved- they sold this as “ using healthier oil” but it’s not. They now taste like cardboard- reminds me of Arnotts with their “ new improved “ flavours- remember that ? Tasted disgusting and they were forced to bring back the “ original “ and… Read more

now go look in the supermarket- you will not find shapes by Arnotts with “ new and improved “ just what we have always liked and purchased. Twisties will end up doing the same. Given the deep and regular discount price I am seeing in the supermarket it’s pretty obvious they are suffering declining sales but are still in denial phase. My advice is do not purchase until they return the product to what is always was and show us they know their tinkering is a big fat fail !!!!

Shame on you – We agree with most of the other comments here. Something has changed with the recipe of cheese twisties and zig zags. Not only have they lost their crunch but the flavour and amount of coating has also changed. Gone are the days of orange fingers and licking them clean! Shame on the corporate crooks - you’ve forfeited your bottom line. Bad quality = Less quantity consumed. Show details

Tasteless twisties – Twisties use to be a great tasting snack, now they are bland. The Zig Zags went from my favourite treat to an unpleasant almost uneatable bag of rubbish. Smiths have lost the plot and a customer. Profit ahead of the product….shame Show details

Zig zags of disgust – What have you done to these they used to be my favourite go to snack now I wouldn't feed them to my enemies dog. Nothing like they used to be just a paper thin crispy whatever you want to call it that you have decided is the body of them . Flavour is just as bad nothing like cheese more like a bad batch of cheese and bacon coating . Bring back the old recipe. Show details

An Old Favourite gone down Hill – I remember - being old enough - when Twisties first came out. I was at the Royal Melbourne Show and they were awesome. NOW - what has happened, they are flavorless! I buy Cheese Rings from Aldi, they have a true cheese flavour and the price is good. I used to grill Twisties, taught my Grandkids how, they too have turned off them. Show details

Low IQ people made advertisements for twisties – Never again will I eat or buy in bulk any twisties or any other things that are made by this company! Using a mor_on Steve's son that danced his baby around on the ground in front of a crocodile was absolutely ludicrous and should have had his children taken from him by child safety services! And then you guys us his son to advertise your foods is… Read more

Bad tasting, something has changed PLEASE change back – Last night we purchased a 270g bag of twisties from Coles. I am not sure what has been done to the twisties formula but they do not taste anywhere as good as they were. I doubt if we will buy them again but may change to cheezels instead. What a shame to lose customers of long long standing. Something has changed for the worse. PLEASE revert to your original formula before it's too late and nobody buys what was once a GREAT snack anymore. Show details

Twisties what happened ? – Wow! What happened to Twisties? Last packet was the flavour I loved and really tasty. This one was really awful, no cheese taste nor flavour. The size was dismal compared to what they used to be. I'm out. Show details

Nasty taste of new Twisties – Twisties now lack cheese flavour and have a bitter taste, nothing like they used to be. Apparently they have changed the oil to make them healthier, (food police!). Well it will work because I won't bother to buy them again. Show details

Luxury I don't need – Bought a smallish bag of Twisties as a treat cause we have had a pretty bad year of life and I wish I hadn't bothered. What happened to the taste? There wasn't even any. It was a struggle to eat 2 handfuls and I threw the rest out. A luxury I didn't need. Show details

Twisties no more – I bought Twisties for a treat yesterday. Haven't had them in a while and, well, I don't think I will be buying them again. Disappointed is an understatement. Dry, tasteless and bland. These three words pretty well sum up the Twisties experience nowadays. I used to love these, however there is no flavour in them anymore. The cheese flavour… Read more

has almost completely disappeared and all that comes through is the bland base grain they are made from. Such a shame that another Aussie icon has been destroyed by the accountants. I'd pay double what I paid for the bag of Twisties I bought yesterday if they tasted the same as they did when I was a kid. So sad!

Significant Gluten increase - no flavour – Being gluten intolerant I use to be able to enjoy Twisties, but recently I began getting sick after eating. I’m sure on previous packaging it never had ‘Gluten’, but no I see it dies and in bold lettering is ‘Barley’. And there’s no flavour anymore. I won’t be buying them anymore, they were $3 a large party packet, now $5 and then discounted to $4, WT! Show details
