Good – This printer does a great job for the money. I've been using mine for about a year without any problems at all - the print quality is as good now as it was when new. It prints discs well, although it does take a little time to align the disc. The disc printing software is easy to use. It does seem to get through a fair amount of ink. The chips in the ink tanks are a con. I have been refilling my tanks from the start (instructions were included with the refill inks on how to disable the ink tank monitoring software) and have had no problems at all. I would certainly buy another Canon printer (although I would check to make sure I can refill the ink tanks first). Good printer for the money. Print DVD/CD discs. Does duplex printing. Handy & easy to use disc printing software included. Ink tanks are expensive and contains "chips" to discourage refilling.
