It got 1 star because you can't leave it blank! – Joined Camplify to make a bit of money given we own a great van, that was sitting unused often. First few hires, were great. Then, we exceeded the number of free nights we could hire for, and in order to continue, needed to join their Premium Membership. Weighed it up and decided our initial experience was positive, let's do it. Continued getting bookings, all good. Pre and post checking always went well.

Then, damage occurred. The entire side of our Van was significantly damaged by a Hirer. My husband completed the post hire check, within the 48 hour window provided. Camplify says if damage is recorded, they will contact you to resolve. We heard nothing. After a week, I emailed them, through the only contact option available, to be told "you didn't submit your post hire check, it's past the 48 hour window, too bad, so sad. " We were stunned. I contacted them a second time, via phone to be told we would be called back by a resolutions manager. No call. A week later, I called again, to be told Brooke the resolution manager, nicole the Customer service manager and Jake our resolution worker had all been notified and asked to call me. No call. I again used their ridiculous online contact form, to inform them that the continued ignoring of my calls meant I would cancel my membership payment. Lo and behold, my husband received a call the next day. The resolution manager again stated too bad. My husband knew he had uploaded the images and filed the report. He instructed camplify to do a granular data recovery from that date. Guess what? They found our post hire checklist, stating the damage with accompanying photos. We received a very trite email acknowledging that they found our report and to obtain a quote for repair. We got a quote and submitted it. Again, weeks elapsed between submitting the quote and receiving notice that repair was approved. Over 8k damage! Currently, we are waiting for the repairers to obtain the parts needed for the repair. The damage occurred in November.... it's June of the following year.

Camplify are simply ridiculous. Amazing that their system failed on the part of the process which costs them money. Because of their stuff up, and being unable to recoup costs from the Hirer, they hoped we would go away.

I will be cancelling my membership the second my van is repaired, irrespective of their stupid 12 month contract. I'll happily block their debit, and let them chase me for the funds for months, and then I'll ensure if they do try to recoup funds, that I will pursue them to the full extent of the law, and drag out any interactions with me, so the cost to them far outstrips the fee they feel they are entitled too, and then I'll pursue them for the reimbursement of all fees paid from me to them after my van was damaged.

To whichever Customer Service rep who monitors these reviews, don't bother asking me to contact you with the details for you to follow up. You've already demonstrated abject incompetence, and can provide me with literally ZERO assistance to resolve my problems. In fact, the idea that there is a single person at Camplify who could be helpful and resolve issues has already been overtly demonstrated as being completely false.

Stay away from Camplify, as both a Hirer or owner. Truly one of the single worst companies I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
