etc. We use it for rice and its ready in an hr. I set it and it does it's thing, makes great sushi rice as well. Dishwasher safe, comes with a measuring cup, 2 scoops, a rice scooper and a ladle like scooper both durable plastic. The bowl is great but you need to be careful not to scratch the coating off. Our kids use it with ease, it's easy to clean, I like how I can clean it with ease and wipe the machine down with ease. Once your rice cooks it automatically switches to the warming setting. I like to turn it off straight away though and wipe it down straight away. It is surprisingly light and cooks fantastic rice. We purchased this from Costco a few years ago now as the price was cheaper than your normal appliance stores. Like anything, as long as you look after it and keep it clean it'll serve you well.

Disappointing. The previous model lasted over 10 years. This model failed after only three years of very occasional use. It still looks new, but it's dead. Show details
