I have wanted to try the benefit pore primer for a long time. However because I don't wear makeup I didn't see the point of the cost of it didn't do anything to help with my base. Then a few weeks ago I saw that Benefit had released a new package with pore helping products and that I could get a kit for $60 aud. ( paid $48 after a promotion). So I bit the bullet and purchased. After using the free sample cleanser, I applied the deep retreat mask, and let it sit for a full 30 minutes. After drying I noticed that spots of oil where appearing on my nose. Chin and forehead. And after washing off I have applied the tone and tight. Honestly my skin is feeling tighter and extremely soft. I am going to give this a 8/10. My only issue is I do have deep pores and I can see that some of the mask is in them. It's with purchasing this kit to try.
The best everyday bronzer! – I have continued to re-purchase this bronzer every year. Goes on the face so easily and lasts all day. The mini sized hoola bronzer is so compact and easy to travel with, and surprisingly lasts a long time! Very easy to build up! Show details
Terribly flaky, smudgey, & non lifting – Extremely disappointed in this mascara. I bought this at Sephora Australia after being excited at reading the multiple reviews online and the… Read more
description of it being a non-smudge, long lasting, lifting mascara.
Although I applied it thoroughly and carefully after curling my lashes (and put two coats on), the effect did not impress or wow me. My lashes looked as if I had used an ordinary drug store mascara.
After 4 hours in 25C sunny/cloudy Mediterranean weather, the mascara that I had applied to my bottom lashes had begun to smudge all over, giving me panda eyes. This was absolutely horrific and I immediately took it off after that.
I gave the mascara a couple more tries over the week. I found the brush and the thickness/wetness of the formula to be fine. I learnt my lesson and only applied two coats to my top lashes. Even then, the effect did not give me the look I was after that was advertised and promised.
For this price point ($44AUD) and the brand name, I had expected more. The drugstore mascara that I use makes my lashes look longer than this Benefit one does, and it does not smudge my undereyes.
I will not be repurchasing this mascara again.
Mascara is thick and clumpy and is almost impossible to remove – I purchased mascara from the Benefit counter at Myer Sydney CBD. I specified to the assistant I had sensitive eyes, and was recommended the "They're… Read more
Real!" lengthening mascara. The mascara is almost impossible to get off, and caused eye irritation that night, and the whole following next day. I tried to contact customer service - via email and DM on Instagram with no reply. Fortunately, I only bought the mini version, despite the assistant pushing me to buy the full-sized mascara.
I have better results from mascaras at the supermarket.
