Worst dishwasher ever! – This is the most disappointing household appliance I have ever owned. If only I'd taken a few wine glasses and plates to the shop with me to see… Read more

what would fit in, I would have come to realise that this dishwasher is best suited to RSL wine goblets from the 60s, Vegemite jar drinking glasses, tea cups and bread and butter plates! In terms of loading it with regular-size dinner plates, hi-ball glasses, stem-wear that has stems more than 3cm and any bowl bigger than a ramekin, it fails. Dismally. The angle of the plate racks is all wrong causing the plates and bowls to fall onto each other, there is room for a max of 6 very short-stemmed goblets - a wine glass with any meaningful shape renders the max wine glass capacity to 2 or 4, if you're lucky. We even removed the stupid cutlery tray to allow for the glasses to fit more easily, but that achieved about 3 eighths of nothing! Without any shadow of a doubt, it was designed by one of the characters from a Beatrix Potter book or a doll's house designer. Admittedly, some racks can be collapsed to accommodate bowls but then capacity is reduced by 50%. This dishwasher cannot hold the breakfast and dinner plates, regular glasses and coffee cups of a family of four - without even 2 wine glasses. Economy goes out of the window when you have to switch the dishwasher on twice a day. A previous machine, an ASKO, was brilliant - only changed brands due to colour!! I am hoping it craps itself whilst under warranty!!
