appliances so we bought a LG unit. Not even 12 months in, the rinse-aid flap plastic had deteriorated to a point where it started forming a crack and thus would also not stay shut. Contacted LG with all relevant information and was denied as this is apparently not a manufacturing defect. I work in the automotive industry and am well aware of a poor plastic when I see one. Considering the Bosch lasted over 10 years and we never had any issues with the plastic, I find this very poor on behalf of LG. At the end of the day it’s a push and release tag inside a machine that gets hundreds of heat cycles through it and obviously is not made to last… not happy!
