ventilation, so if I use the clothes dryer I have to open the back door to let the air out, and the back part of the house still steams up with condensation, even on the bathroom mirror in the next room. It's also not realistic to have the back door open in winter in Tasmania to use the dryer - the time when I'm most likely to use it. After listening to the issues, the electrician recommended the Ventair Airbus. It's fitted in the ceiling directly above the dryer and vented outside through the eaves. IT WORKS. I can use the dryer and there is NO CONDENSATION at all. The laundry is dry, the bathroom next to it is dry and I don't have to open the back door! Venting it outside keeps the insulation in roof clean and dry, and there is minimal noise. I can highly recommend this.

fine for the first 2 days, operated by its remote. But on the morning of 3rd day I tried opening our electric blinds and found they didn’t work, while the fan beeped when pressing the blinds remote - and the fan no longer responded to its remote. We were unable to re-pair the fan to its remote without leaving the blinds switched off, although we did that and re-paired accordingly. The next morning (with the blinds still turned off) the fan in our bedroom (not a Ventair fan) also stopped working, again as well as the new fan - same situation as with the blinds. And the only way to re-pair the bedroom fan was to leave the Glacier fan switched off. When I spoke to Matt at Ventair he said that as long as the Glacier fan worked properly when initially paired there is no prospect of a warranty or faulty equipment claim, and Ventair have no fix for the fan interfering with other remote controlled equipment at a customer. So the new fan is useless for us - waste of money not only on the fan but also the install / de-installation!
