and the fan no longer responded to its remote. We were unable to re-pair the fan to its remote without leaving the blinds switched off, although we did that and re-paired accordingly. The next morning (with the blinds still turned off) the fan in our bedroom (not a Ventair fan) also stopped working, again as well as the new fan - same situation as with the blinds. And the only way to re-pair the bedroom fan was to leave the Glacier fan switched off. When I spoke to Matt at Ventair he said that as long as the Glacier fan worked properly when initially paired there is no prospect of a warranty or faulty equipment claim, and Ventair have no fix for the fan interfering with other remote controlled equipment at a customer. So the new fan is useless for us - waste of money not only on the fan but also the install / de-installation!
