plumber, on the 25/09/2025, who installed it and he said to me to unplug it, for few minutes, if I had no hot water. I had to do this operation 4 times between the 25/09/205 and the 30/09/2025 to get hot water again. Unfortunately, to day the 30/09/2025, the Rheem did not start again, and I have not hot water, in a middle of a shower. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED with this product ! I am waiting for the visit of the plumber today (30/09/2025) to fix it to be able FINALLY to have a full shower.

The unit takes way too long to wake up. Hence the money you save on gas storage costs will be spent on water wastage bills.

Ridiculous cost for what it is, obviously marked up according to the "savings" that you are supposed to be banking on gas. Well, let's see how long the thing lasts - it will need to see out the warranty and then some to get the dollars back.

Needs a powerpoint installed - extra $$$...

The biggest gripe is that the unit is simply not fit for purpose. Their claim is that the unit complies with the Australian standard, not exceeding 50 degrees so they set it to 48! I understand this is possibly to allow for ambient variation, but you have got to be kidding me. 48 degrees gives me 47 at the first outlet, about 43 at the last outlet. Our last storage heater gave very nice (50 degree tempered) water at the first outlet and believe me that 3 degrees makes a big difference...
