arranged for another technician to come to my home. This guy explained the workings of the lighting mechanism and that I needed to hold the knob down more firmly than I had been. Problem solved! I still think it’s a silly operating system but I can’t fault the after-sales service.

days. However, this I think is a product fault as the cast iron racks are not sealed. My 20 year old cheap hotplate looks better than my brand new AEG Gas Hotplate. Very disappointing.
