wish I had done more research before buying. It looks cheap, even though it is more expensive than other similar brushes, and if you are not careful - it's very easy to get your hair tangled in the brush.

waves or curls. However, I found my waves would hold all day and occasionally the next day with the Siren Wave Wand. I had to practice wrapping my hair around the barrel a few times before I got the hang of it. I watched several YouTube clips for tips. I've since got it down to roughly 10 mins to do my whole head of hair.
The Siren Waving Wand ticked a lot of boxes for me: - it had a long barrel so I could wrap all my hair along it without having to overlap hair - it had a wide diameter (34mm) so it wouldn't give me ringlets - it had no clamp / spoon, so I could control how I wrapped my hair down the barrel - it heats up SUPER quick up to 210 degrees (which is the setting I use to manage my thick hair) - it has an auto shut off feature which gives me assurance in case I forget I've left it on! - it has a cool tip
What I didn't like was: - the salon length cord, I felt like I could get tangled in it - it only comes with one heat-protective glove so you have to take it off to switch hands, it would be great if it came with 2 gloves - between the barrel and handle, there is a stopper to keep the hair on the barrel side as opposed to the handle. It would be great if the stopper went all the way around instead of only on one side, I found that my hair sometimes slid up the handle when I was styling.
Ultimately, I'm very happy with the Siren Wave Wand 34mm, and would recommend it to anyone with long thick hair looking for large waves.
