slim and comfortable – Many phone providers are no longer giving us a 3.5mm ear phone port. The USB C port is for everything. This is the cheapest USB C wired… Read more
earphone/headphone I have seen on the market. It doesn't have any silicone insert so it's perfect for me as currently I'm having skin issues. Easier for me to clean and sanitize. Instead of adding wings like some other companies, Google decide to use part of the cord to create a loop. This is better than the wings, which I constantly lose anyway. This invention means that I'll never lose the loop cause it's actually the cable. The loop is adjustable to make the earphone fit different size ears. This seems to imply it only works with Google pixel. But I found it works with my Samsung phone and my laptop. This is definitely compatible with items produce since 2019.

Ridiculous warranty process – I'd had my buds for around 2 months and they were working well but then one started to disconnect randomly while in use, and connect randomly when… Read more
not in use and inside the charging case, sometimes causing my podcast app to play when I wasn't listening to it which was annoying. The problem bud would also lose charge at times when in the charging case but would then randomly charge again. In the end I was fed up with the unreliability and contacted Google about a replacement.
The warranty process is ridiculous. I was in an online chat for an hour and a half involving lots of aimless troubleshooting, some of it irrelevant, some I'd already tried and one was inappropriate while the issue isn't actively happening which it wasn't during the chat. The 'Customer Care' person, also didn't read my initial explanation of the issue fully and tried to fix a charging issue with the charging case, which was never a problem in the first place and then tried to finish the chat when the case was shown to be charging correctly. Eventually I was offered a replacement under warranty but the whole process has put me off every buying a Google product again. It shouldn't be anywhere near this hard!
Google, you are an enormous company. You can and should do a lot better than this!
