Ridiculous warranty process – I'd had my buds for around 2 months and they were working well but then one started to disconnect randomly while in use, and connect randomly when not in use and inside the charging case, sometimes causing my podcast app to play when I wasn't listening to it which was annoying. The problem bud would also lose charge at times when in the charging case but would then randomly charge again. In the end I was fed up with the unreliability and contacted Google about a replacement.

The warranty process is ridiculous. I was in an online chat for an hour and a half involving lots of aimless troubleshooting, some of it irrelevant, some I'd already tried and one was inappropriate while the issue isn't actively happening which it wasn't during the chat. The 'Customer Care' person, also didn't read my initial explanation of the issue fully and tried to fix a charging issue with the charging case, which was never a problem in the first place and then tried to finish the chat when the case was shown to be charging correctly. Eventually I was offered a replacement under warranty but the whole process has put me off every buying a Google product again. It shouldn't be anywhere near this hard!

Google, you are an enormous company. You can and should do a lot better than this!

Purchased in for $159.

Google Buds A Series – I received a set of these Google AirPods via My Telstra rewards. However, over a short time, the volume and sound started to fall until it is now just a mere whisper. I’ve tried to contact Google in relation to this issue, but navigating their artificial intelligence leaves a lot to be desired. In the meantime, I’ve gone out and bought a set of Apple AirPods Pro, which are a lot more sophisticated and and better quality. It seems the Google AirPods are destined for the bin. Definitely wouldn’t recommend them.

Also this is another comment from another customer of Google etc etc… It is wonder why Goggle stick in this space……. I had exactly the same issue

I've had my Pixel bud 2's for two weeks and used them daily but they suddenly lost all volume. Even at max volume all I get is a whisper. I've tried all the trouble shooting steps I've found online such as clearing my Bluetooth cache and changing avrcp to 1.6, and even connected them to another pixel device and had the same issue so I can confirm it is the buds themselves. I really hope there is a fix for this because I really like the design and features and don't want to give them up.
