Love these heaters! Really quiet & heat well – I bought this one for Dad’s bedroom after I bought myself a DeLonghi for WFH during lockdowns. Found these were alot cheaper to run than gas DH all… Read more

day/night. Sadly, the DeLonghi fell apart, so I got myself another one of these to replace it. They’re cheaper & Dads was working great, so it was an easy choice. Getting 2 more for the other 2 bedrooms & 1 more for the lounge upstairs this year. I like the adjustable heating levels, because I prefer a low heat while I sleep. I also like that it’s lightweight & I can move it around easily too. New model has timers! I switch Dads on about 30mins - 1hr before he goes to bed. Room gets warm in that time & he has very high ceilings! Ceilings in home office & my room not so high. Switch on & by time I’ve showered & ready for bed, my room is nice & toasty. Overall, very happy with these. I’ve heard oil heaters are even cheaper to run than these! Compared to the gas ducted heating & the fan heaters, these use bugger all power to run & still keep us warm throughout the chilly months. Haven’t noticed any issues running all day/night. Don’t trip power, unlike the 2000w fan heater in my bathroom. Can only use fan heater on the 1000w low setting or you trip the fuse. We’ve got solar panels now too, so will be interesting to see difference in running costs this winter!

The unit is not easy to operate and I do not recommend it. First there are three heat choices - 1, 2 & 3. 1 & 2 have very clear buttons to push to… Read more

make them operate but there is no button for setting 3. That is operated by pressing both 1 & 2. It makes it awkward to use. The second issue relates to the temperature dial. It is in white and the actual pointer is merely a slight indent in the white dial, making it very difficult to locate. I used a black tecture to colour it in so I could quickly see it. One should not have to make your own modifications to a new product.

inadequate drawing. I cannot see how these pieces fit without potentially breaking the lugs. Then "secure with 4 screws provided" - no screws. So can't go any further until I take it back to the shop. Do not recommend for these reasons.
