Started leaking gas inside – We have been happy with the performance of this stove - the griddle is great. I just took it out of the shed to test it (luckily) as we haven't used… Read more

it for a while and with the gas connected I could hear and smell gas escaping even though all the burners were off. I removed the burners and drip tray to investigate and found one of the brass tubes carrying the gas to the burners had a split around it about 8mm long like a corkscrew. All the gas tubing inside the stove is locked down tight and there is no opportunity for it to twist or vibrate, A fracture like this can only result from the tubing being placed under a twisting force during manufacture, and then locked down with that force still present, eventually giving way. Could have been very dangerous had I lit the stove without checking. The stove is out of warranty, but you would expect the gas piping inside the stove to stay safe regardless of how old the stove is. Now I have to bin an otherwise good stove. We have usually bought Coleman for our camping needs including a second stove, hot water service, sleeping bags etc. so this is disappointing to be let down like this.

Rubbish, HSV branded 27l Esky Ice King – I bought three of these HSV branded, red 27L Esky's - two for gifts. What a massive disappointment! Touted as keeping ice for three days at 32… Read more

degrees, couldn't keep ice for a day and a half at sub 25 C! There is a huge design flaw in the base - the insulation is non-existent and the bottom and lower 50-75 mm of the sides is freezing to the touch and causes immediate condensation. There is very obviously a thermal short-circuit built into the base. Friends have paid less money for no-brand Chinese coolers and got better value and performance. VERY disappointed to be taken for a mug, I won't be buying any of your products, ever again.

Bought for a price to fit a specific size requirement – It's big, wide (52L big top opening) and heavy when full. Will easily fit 8 large Bubbly / wine bottles with lots of room for ice and large (32 cm)… Read more

salad plates, sealed containers on top and down sides. Ice might last 10 hours on a 40 deg. day, but that's what I expected - it was bought for a price / size relationship, from Bunnings on special. It's construction is very simple, double skinned with no or little useful internal insulation - no statements / stickers regarding how long ice will last so can't be accused of misleading advertising. I have coolers that will store larger quantities for 5 to 7 days in 40 deg. heat if needed. The double extension handle and large wheels make it very easy to pull around when full - but because the handle does not lock in the up position you cannot push it even when empty. Be careful backing it down or pulling up stairs - the bottom handle mounting bracket rubs before the wheels contact the leading edge of the steps - very poor design in my opinion. This unit fits easily into my cars, has 4 recessed pockets in lid for convenient placement of drink containers, 2 deep hand-grab recesses adjacent the end wheels makes it easy to lift, is of reasonably tough construction, but don't use it as a spare adult chair.
