going back and its money back for me (BUT I would be left with my original problem !). Well it DID work. We had nesting IBIS and Cockatoos in the large tree out the back, in the evenings around dusk. They were too far away to reach with a hose. My guess 15 to 25 metres. This thing works on ULTRASONIC sound although for some of the first week or so we added in the audible sounds as we seemed to need some extra deterrent. Just SO impressed. We have only had the unit for about 5 weeks so I cannot speak of the longevity of it, but I will tell you what, pest controllers were talking thousands to get those birds out of my tree and now, for $150 or so, I am living pest free. It does not bother the dogs and we cannot hear it on ULTRASONIC. It did chew through the "C" type batteries if you inadvertently left it on, and those are expensive. Now we have it set up to mains power, on a timer, 10 minutes before dusk till 20 minutes afterwards. I could not be happier. Those birds stink and leave very putrid droppings, and now we are free from that. Just so happy.

As for our floating trampoline just 10m away from the dock, it still gets poo on it, but a slightly reduced amount. Environmentally friendly, good features like volume control and timer.
