Great ceramic bowl but the heater element/base is a bit cheap and lightweight – The slow cooker is fantastic but I have to worry whether the unit will last the test of time. The base unit is pretty poorly made and doesn't feel… Read more

No spare parts – No spare parts - if the hinge pin breaks and it will, you can’t purchase a new hinge for the Lid. It is dangerous to use as you can steam burn your hand. I called the company and was advised that they do not carry any parts. Show details

and they replaced it. I have used it approximately 10 times and now it appears the heating element has failed. I contacted their warranty department but was informed that as I was out of warranty by 2.5 months (1.5 months from exchange unit) they would not be prepared to replace it. Very disappointed in the fact that they obviously don’t support their own product and it would appear they don’t expect it to last past 12 months.
I went into mediation with Sunbeam. They advised that my feedback has been shared with their team !!
Today, on recommendation, I purchased a Russell Hobb Slow Cooker for half the price and it came with a 2 year warranty. Obviously, this product is expected to last more than one year.

months past the 1yr warranty, and Crockpot show no interest in this at all. No offer of store credit towards another product, no refund or offer to repair or replace. Had I known it was unreliable and only going to barely scrape past a year I would have bought something else. The lights started flashing, no reset button pressing helped, no offer of support or advice from Crockpot. Sorry, but I don't want to buy something simply to throw it out after less than 18 months.
