six months, I was suddenly sent an invoice for approximately $3,500 and told to pay it immediately or face additional fees and potential legal action. This situation was entirely the result of their own administrative oversight, yet the urgency and tone of the communication placed all responsibility on me.

I contacted them promptly requesting an explanation and a reasonable resolution, given that the missed notices were not my fault. Instead of addressing the issue constructively, they responded by issuing an updated invoice that included additional fees and penalties.

There was no accountability for the initial error, no meaningful attempt to resolve the situation fairly, and no recognition of the inconvenience caused. It is extremely frustrating to be penalised for a problem that arose due to their own failure to properly manage the account.

I would strongly encourage others to be cautious and to closely monitor all communications, as it appears that administrative errors can quickly become your financial responsibility.
