I then got a message he will arrive between 3.25-3.30pm AT 3.45PM I got another message he will arrive between 4.45-5pm An entire day wasted and at this point I felt its surely time to cancel as based on the days experience, I doubted the appointment would be kept. When I finally got thru to the overseas service centre they advised me they need a min 24hr cancellation so I will be charged! After losing my patience with this farse I was finally told I will not be charged. This was a horrific experience and a complete waste of an entire day...I will never use or recommend this company and wish anyone wishing to do so the best of luckl

I then called their head office and was told to send in an email. No response. My phone is a brick and needs to be replaced. I called the service location again and went in to see them a third time. a quote where the response time was abysmal. I just brushed it off as them being busy. After asking for the make and model of my computer, doesn’t reply and only views my message for the next almost 24hrs. I text again, no reply, so i call up customer support. The only good thing about this service is their customer support, they respond so quickly and contacted my technician to reply to me. Then came the day they took my pc to inspect. He told me he would come early morning. Dude came in an uber at 11am and didn’t ring my doorbell or anything and stood outside for probably like 20-30 minutes. Heard a rustle so i came out to check to see him standing there, gave him my pc, power cord and hdmi cable. He proceeded to start walking away with my pc to what i assumed to be like another uber waiting. However he did not get in another uber, it looked like he just walked all the way to the station with my pc which is 15-20 minutes away from my house. Took my pc for about til the next day for him to inspect the problem, repaired it about the day after and got it back then. Then different problems started when i got my pc back, he reset my whole pc without telling me. Luckily i had already transferred a couple files over to a usb, and then apps and games would run slower than usual until finally, i wasn’t able to sign into my computer anymore. Contacted him again to say it wasn’t fixed and a different problems started occurring, again he didn’t respond and only responded after i contacted customer support. Different technician contacted me saying he would come Friday 9-10am to inspect however Friday came and no one came by. Then he contacted me later saying there were delays and would come next Monday or Tuesday. Now i’m in the process of waiting for them to fix this problem. I recommend you go to a different service, or the specific area mine is in is just horrible. Right now it seems like $500 down the drain for me, don’t make the same mistake.

Second item, my partner had purchased a new Laptop along with Microsoft 365 and Security packages. Michael was requested to download the packages, then ensure the Outlook, Word and Excel packages worked okay. We were very satisfied with Michael's attention to detail, and his explanatory comments on various aspects of what he was doing gave my partner an understanding what he was doing and why.

Data Recovery specialists. I rang both companies. Both were professional and polite, but Payam Data Recovery (Brisbane) were also kind and had a very personalised approach. We were put in contact with Scott the amazing Data Recovery Technician who was very reassuring and really seemed to care about our situation. All communication (on the phone, in person and via email) was clear and effective. We were kept up to date at all times and our data was returned to us (yay) in an efficient timeframe. issue was repairable and covered by a 90-day warranty.

However, after multiple repair attempts, the issue was not resolved. I returned again within the warranty period and explained that the problem mainly occurs at night, which cannot be properly tested during store hours. Despite this, the store relied on limited in-store testing and concluded that the phone was working, without addressing the specific conditions under which the issue arises.

On 14 February 2026, I was offered a partial refund with removal of parts and no warranty, subject to a 7-day deadline. Consumer and Business Services (CBS) later confirmed that this deadline is not part of the store’s published terms and conditions (https://www.grphones.com.au/terms-and-conditions-2/)

I sent two follow-up emails but did not receive any substantive response until now.

My concern is not only that the issue remains unresolved, but also the reliance on limited testing, the inconsistency between the stated position and the proposed refund, and the lack of engagement after the matter was formally raised.

of my iphone16 plus replaced and the technician did not glue it in place properly and it had a gap which let water in. Alongside this I haven’t even dropped the phone but because of the bad quality of the backing and it not being in place it is now more fragmented than when I went in originally and the camera lenses are now damaged as well.

I have tried reaching out to let them know of my experience and they wanted to charge me another $159 to fix the damage that their team caused. It just feels really scammy money grabbing behaviour to me the backing broke literally within the same week I got it replaced. If they even offered for me to pay cost price that would be fine but the fact they are trying to take advantage and charge a really high mark up to fix a problem they made worse & with poor technical service just really sucks :(
