Looks fabulous. Works well. Gasket change is IMPOSSIBLE!!! – Love love love the look of this on my bench. horrible experience. There were no youtube videos on how to do it for a reason - it was impossible. So difficult to get the gasket out. Aarke suggests tweezers - um….no. Managed to get a long sewing needle under the gasket then slowly edge it out. Really a serious flaw in this machine!!
Worked great until it broke after only 3 years of normal use - and Aarke won't do anything to fix it – I was really enamoured with the style and function of this device in the first couple of years we had it. It worked well, we used it pretty much daily and I probably would have given it 5 stars at that time. About a month ago, it completely stopped working. of their 2-year warrantee. I have friends who have used their SodaStreams for over a decade without any issues, and I think a product that markets itself as premium and costs nearly $300 shouldn't be sent to the tip after only 3 years of normal wear and tear.
Dangerous product – We purchased this product with the expectation of quality as well as stylish design. When placing a new canister into the unit and depressing the lever the gas continued to build up and not stop until the bottle was violently ejected from the stand. drip plate was bent and I sustained an injury. I have reported the issue to Aarke who have as yet not given me any personal response except a computer generated response . Very very dissappointed

You will need to buy a gas bottle separately, but it takes a standard sodastream bottle. I'm really happy to have this in my kitchen, and as a new recruit to the aarke brand I'll e keeping my eye out for other prodcts from them

Excellent product and wonderful customer support – I purchased my aarke carbonator in late 2018 and have been very satisfied, using it practically every day since then. It not only looks fantastic but performs very well. More impressive, however, is their customer support. Following just one email to their support team with a video of the problem they immediately offered to send me a replacement unit which arrived promptly from their wholesale distributor. Thanks aarke!
Machine Looks Great and Works Well! – Had a Sodastream and it worked well, but I loved the look of the Aarke and my partner bought me one for my birthday. You have to make sure you use it properly or you can waste a lot of gas. less plastic and it's easy to do at home. (Normally buy soda water for $0.75 for 1.25L at Coles or Woolworths.
I tried some of the Sodastream flavours, but they are very sticky and sweet (Like the Aarke flavours)and then I stumbled across a product called Flavr and it's just drops and they last a long time and not too sweet. Australian made as well, as Sodastream products are made in Israel, so doing my bit for the country.
Perfect – We make plain old soda water with our Aarke. It tastes great, better than the $2.50 bottles and as we love in the country we always have soda water now! Show details
Poor quality and poor customer service – Within the first day of use the lid from the bottle broke. Pretty disappointed considering this is supposed to be a premium brand and it cost so much. When contacting customer service, they weren’t helpful. It took various messages on social media and then emails to get a blunt response of “take it back to the store you bought it”.
