Acer Aspire 4741G

Has been reliable – Despite Acers bad reputation this one has kept going . Was good value when new with 500GB HD , 4GB Ram i5 processor and 1GB video card . However build quality is low with keyboard that flexes as you type , the worst speakers of any laptop I have known and even the headphone socket sound is poor . Basically works OK screen goes out for a second now and again but always recovers itself . Guess you get what you pay for and at $800 new at the time was good value . Compact at the time , reiable , good screen , Sound reproduction .
