Happy Lappy – I purchased the Aspire Core-i3 2Gig Model back in January 2012 From Harvey Norman. Cosmetically a Good Looking Laptop. Affordable, durable, Quick and Easy, battery that last for ages (aprox 3.2 hours now) I carry it everywhere, to Work, to my parents and anywhere I like to sit down have a Coffee and write a Journo. Its out of warranty now but… Read more

hasnt failed me yet. Generous graphic card, efficient power, and soft touch keys, never overheats. The only problem is that it isnt made for windows that well, and should be backed up often. So i installed Linux and works really Neat. Usually Lappys have a life span of up to 4-5 years before it hits the meltdown yard, even the expensive ones, so get what you can afford, and no need to overspend.

Good up until now – My Acer Aspire has bren excellent up until this point in time. I received the laptop as a Christmas present in 2011. I have had no problems until it stopped charging. I am pretty sure my warranty is up. So I took it to the local Dicks Electronics store where they thought they fixed it but didnt and then recommended I buy a new charger which did… Read more

Great Laptop until something goes wrong – For the price this laptop is excellant, the only issue is when you have to send it back to Acer under warranty. The warranty call centre is overseas and they seem to make it their mission to make any warranty return hard. End result is I have spent over 5 hours on the phone with these guys and have had misleading and conflicting information on… Read more

how to return my laptop for repair and then after this where my laptop is now. To get it to the repair centre I had to ring Acer in NSW directly and was lucky enough to have someone help me there who emailed me a E Parcel con note from Australia Post. I had rung the call centre of Acer five times for this and rang Acer NSW out of sheer frustration. I have now rang the call centre again, as I recieved a text saying it had been fixed 6 days ago to find out the E Parcel tracking number and they gave me an incorrect number saying it was Aust Posts problem that it was incorrect. That is only half of the story as if I included everything they have done sofar I would be here all day. In short I will never buy another Acer product as there warranty process is flawed and sloppy. good machine bad warranty service

Good shopping experience and fast delivery – I bought a new Acer LX.RHZ02.053 laptop from Bing Lee three weeks ago. I wanted to use it for awhile before I wrote a review so here goes. The computer is way faster than my old one and as an avid gamer, I love how good the graphics are. The computer matched up perfectly to the specs on Bing Lee's site and the reading I did before I bought the… Read more ·  1

computer. My only gripe about the computer is that it came with a really stripped down version of Office. It just has Excel and Word and nothing else. It was marked on the site that it did and I knew it. I just wish they had at least an option with PowerPoint included, I wouldn’t have minded to pay a bit more for it. My online purchase went really smoothly. The checkout was fast and the computer arrived in 2 days in perfect working order. The only other suggestion I'd have for anyone high up and important at Bing Lee would be to give more information about your extended warranties on the site. I didn't buy one because I couldn't find a place where I could read the terms. I'm not saying it wasn't there, but I definitely didn't see it. Otherwise though, a good experience and a good computer. 9.5/10 score! fast, easy, accurate couldn't find warranty info
