Actually I got the 16 model. After about a month the touchpad ceased to function and couldn't be made functional. Very annoying. The performance is fast but windows 11 is a great impediment - Microsoft seems to have a goal of making computers more and more difficult to use.
Avoid buying this laptop!!!! slow, battery life trash and laggy. Brought from Harvey Norman and regret it it. Worst purchase ever.

Bought this, regretted it. Advertised as 3.3ghz, it's actually ~1ghz. False advertising. It takes several minutes to load basic websites. Forget about youtube or any other video streaming service. About 4 minutes to load the home page of youtube, another 2-3 minutes for the video to start playing, video is unwatchable, getting maybe 1-2 frames per second. When watching a video file locally on the machine audio and video stutter terribly. My $50 fire stick is faster than this. My 11 year old laptop that finally died was MILES faster than this landfill contributor. Do not waste your time or money, instant return. Do manufacturers have no QA? Please discontinue this laptop and return all stock to the manufacturer to send a message, do not make e-waste like this.

I purchased the Acer Aspire Lite 15.6” (Pentium-N6000/8GB/256GB SSD) expecting a basic, functional laptop. What I got was a dead-on-arrival nightmare.
Right out of the box:
The laptop was horribly slow, even for basic tasks.
It took ages to boot and longer to open anything.
Wi-Fi connectivity was completely broken — it would connect for a couple of minutes, then drop out constantly.
The trackpad failed entirely, forcing me to plug in an external mouse just to use the thing.
This is not a $200 throwaway laptop, this was a new machine that failed at literally everything from day one. This wasn’t a one-off glitch — it’s clearly a quality control issue, and based on others’ experiences, Acer’s budget models are consistently underperforming or outright defective. Acer’s brand has become synonymous with low-grade hardware, poor reliability, and nonexistent QA standards. If you're considering Acer — don’t. You’ll likely end up with a broken product and no support. It’s not worth the gamble.
