Acer Aspire One D Series 10

Perfect for my needs – This is the Intel Atom N570 dual core with 1 gig ram and 250g hard drive. It is fairly quick for a netbook with webcam as well. It has 3 usb ports. The keyboard is not full sized but as I use it for mobile computing and internet, does the job well. I was going to get a tablet, but needed something to type quicker on. This has about 8 hours battery life and also wireless N. It came with dual boot Windows 7 starter and Android. Android is difficult to use with a mouse and is more suited to a touch screen.
I updated to Windows home premium, which kept telling me it failed, but did work. The computer is quite quick. I changed it to 2 gig ram (only 1 ram slot). I bought a portable dvd drive for it as well. I got the acer for $250, just google cheap netbooks. Speed, size, features, battery life, harddrive size, wireless N, webcam.
OK – This netbook is easy to use and provides great convenient when you are on the road or traveling but it doesn't do much of a computing device apart from simple everyday use such as internet, web browsing, MS office, documents and store some data. However, it is what it is and for the money you pay i consider this as great value. The benefits are lightweight, mobile usages and it is a compact take anywhere netbook. Small and easy to use. Great device to take anywhere and perfect for traveling. Good value for money. Poor performance. Limited processor. Lags in many ways. No CD/DVD drive. Extremely slow.
Excellent – i like the size of the acer aspire one because it fits in to my suitcase and has got very fast internet speed.it only wieghs about 1.0 kilo and is very compact, though it does not have very long lasting batteries which makes it hard to do stuff if you are going to new york.it stopped about half way.though it has got a lot of memery for movies, stuff, and games. good, fast and effective internet.for such a small device it really has all the bells and whistles. it could be a bit more colourful.
