Cheap monitor with visible flickering – Bought this model cheap at Officeworks, along with the HP W2072a at a similar price. I'm usually not fussy with monitors and was after an entry level basic LCD that was low in power consumption. While I was happy with the resolution and picture in the Acer, the biggest issue for me has been the visible flicker. I've tried both VGA and DVI, but its there on both. You can actually see the black screen refresh every millisecond or so which can be irritating and cause tiredness of the eyes even when viewed for short periods. The other monitor does not have this effect. I think I should probably have bought two of them instead. Cheap LCD, No Mercury Visible flickering
