The downside is they don't do HDR, but if that's not a big loss for you then you won't regret this purchase!

monitor at this price will get u local dimming zones so no need, gsync/freesync , 120% srgb so colours pop with great black levels. As non competitive gamer this is too good of a proposition and Money u spend is a steal.highly recommended.

Good deal for the $$ – Good price for a 34” monitor. backlight bleeding wasn’t that noticeable on my unit. Didn’t really notice ghosting, but I don’t play a lot of FPS games, could be different if it was from another user. Good monitor for a great price – Good build quality. Feels sturdy and not cheap. Crisp display and really loving the ultrawide canvas to work with. Coding and Spreadsheets are much more easier to navigate and you can literally have two seperate documents back to back on the same screen easily without having to rely on another seperate additional monitor. it really is super wide, so much that i have to turn my head to view two windows tiled side by side. I normally have one browser next to Windows Explorer open. Most websites don't support ultrawide resolution so you only benefit when multitasking.

I noticed the colours and visual feeling was instantly NOT as good as my old IPS screen. The colour and brightness adjustment settings aren't great but it gets the job done. It's rather bright and difficult to configure at low brightness with accurate colours. After 2 months of using it i have adapted to it. It's also half the price of a good 34" IPS panel so you can't really compare it.

Size wise it is not very tall, probably the height of a 24" monitor and 1.5x the width. Would be nicer if it was the height of a 27". Having two monitors gives you more flexibility such as for sending windows to dedicated monitors without painfully using the mouse to resize windows constantly. Two 24" / 27" monitors have much more screen real estate at 1440 resolution.

Overall, i would probably buy two 27" 16:9 1440 resolution IPS screens for better productivity. If video consumption/editing/gaming are more important, then enjoy a clean desk with the 34" as the winner with the impressive immersion.

I might buy a 27" 16:9 1440 second screen later so i can run Zoom training sessions more effectively.

Tip 1 - I used DisplayCAL and some free profiles to adjust the screen to be more colour accurate. Tip 2 - Move the windows task bar to the left or right of the screen to get back valuable vertical screen real estate. Right click a blank area in the task bar, uncheck "Lock all taskbars", then drag and drop the taskbar to the left edge of the screen. Tip 3 - I set my screen scaling to 125% to make buttons and menus easier to see. Right click the desktop, display settings, scale and layout, 125%.

It's excellent both in build quality and easy to setup – perfect monitor for work and play. It is also height adjustable, compared to my Samsung 4k monitor it is more flexible. The size is perfect, felt like a 2 monitor combo. The curve is also just right. The only thing is that it is probably not high res enough for 34", but it is okay for me. so far no complaints. Excellent customer service – Delivery was fast. When delivered there was an issue with the stand: when the screw holding the base and neck was locked in there was still play in the neck which moved about 5mm. Sent a video to Gearbite and they sent out a replacement within 24 hours. Replacement works great.  Show details

Great monitor for work – I don't do any gaming but for working its just the right size for having two applications open side by side. Makes working from home more pleasant and easier on the eye.

Cheap. Quality – Excellent value. Only issue i have found is an uneven backlight but this does not significantly effect user experience. Magnetic cable management is great. Best Value for the Money – It a great monitor at this price point ($480). I purchase it for WFH purpose, you will need to do some tweak with the setting for Mac User. The Colour is okay after some adjustment, you need to turn off HDR and enable HiDPI. I can't complain about the colour/image quality. It's really Best Value for the Money. Show details

Superb monitor for the price! – Took 3 weeks to arrive, and the wait was worth it. Upgraded from a similarly sized 34" LG UW IPS 75hz 1080p, and colours look similarly vibrant. With a higher resolution, faster Freesync and ergonomic adjustments (pan, tilt, height) it really is a step up. Time will tell if it lasts as long, but as a user of other Mi products I am optimistic.
