Absolutely the most disorganised service provider I've ever come across. Staff are clueless (not their fault). Change case managers without notifying clients, emails not answered, dont tell visiting staff re clients conditions. Im training them as my husband is 90% blind....reckless & unprofessional. I've had enough of this crap. But they can get emails out that their prices are increasing. Grrrrrrr

Very toxic workplace. The frontline staff are treated like cr#p by other staff. Unless you are in the click you don't matter.

I am a support worker that goes around different homes. In one week I had 2 different elderly ladies complaining about their ACH gardeners. The first one showed me that her gardener did less than a square meter of weeding while she was there (paid for and hour and a half - charged $195.00) and spent nearly the whole time chatting to the ladies… Read more

neighbor and left early. The other elderly lady at another property said pretty much the same. The person was paid for an hour and stayed 15 minutes. And in the process whipper snippered her flowers which she asked him not to touch. Th problem with these companies is that there is too much NDIS money aged care money on offer so the companies are desperate for workers and never tell them off or push them in case they quit. But of course this causes most all of the good workers to quit because they don't want to be the only ones doing all the work.

In the last few years of dad's life, he started off living in a retirement unit run by ACH, then progressed to an ACH home care package, he had a very short stint in an ACH nursing home (the staff and team and room were all wonderful, he just couldn't handle being in a care facility and was desperate to live independently), and now that he's gone… Read more ·  1

we've had to deal with ACH in terms of exiting the unit and reconciling various finances. All along, they have been fantastic to deal with. Kind, empathetic, knowledgable, flexible, fair ... human. At the home care stage, my dad would often be difficult and they made him - and me - feel ok with choices and always made it clear it was his life and they were there to support it. I had a direct relationship with his care manager, Cara, who was urgent in responses, very clear in communications, and had a genuine care for my dad. There have been no issues at all with exiting, and again the flexibility and bespoke guidance I've received at this stage has been so appreciated. I can only talk to the experience my dad and I had with ACH, and I can say we always felt cared for and listened to.

Another Case of Insufficient Resources – Very hard for phone calls to get answered by reception. No difference even when calling back for missed calls.

Shame on ACH – No stars for ACH … Shame on you ACH ! My mother moved to Elkanah RV a few years ago. Was happy until ACH have stopped all carers and cleaners ect from attending Elkanah enforcing their own people / work force as it’s Cheeper under the guise of continuity of care! My mum has had the same carer for four years and ACH will not allow her on site… Read more

anymore as they have their own work force!!!! UNBELIEVABLE! Taken away mums choice dignity made her a number all for the sake of a few dollars ! Feel free to contact me on ateam3@hotmail.com We do not except ACH as a provider for the elderly as they have effectively BULLIED all at Elkanah ! Shame on you ACH. This is elderly abuse… 15/7/2024

Bad Service, Bad provider, – My Mum has her packaged with ACH and they are so unreliable, cancel at the last moment, change workers and times and don't let you know. The care manager for my Mum's package, is rude and told us that any enquiry we have will take her 72 hours to answer us, her emails are rude and blunt , they take the money to look after the care package but they… Read more

don't do anything for it. We hat to go privately to get some services for Mum as their fees are so high and her package was being eaten up with their management fees and lack of staff. We are now looking at changing providers.

Been a client for 20 years and can't get Services even monthly – My mum has been with ACH for 20 years and cant seem to get regular cleaning services In fact it's been 6 weeks. They cancel me on the last minute and my complaints go unheard. No regular staff and no one wants to hear about it.

JUST DONT…… – In my opinion senior management could be more customer focussed and very expensive services (or lack thereof). Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere. I even found it difficult to leave! Beware!

Not very helpful – I rang ACH with an issue I have with one of their residents that live next door to me and basically they did not want to get involved with the issue I am having. It worries me a lot as I explained the situation that has caused me a lot of distress and that the main reason for my complaint was for my security of my house. As they said they cannot… Read more

do anything to help me and to take it up with the council which refuse to help me too, now this resident is given the green light to do want he wants and I actually don’t feel safe living next door to him anymore. It’s such an awful situation to be in and that ACH are so heartless to someone who is concerned for their safety.

Not reliable – My Mum has had her package with them for a couple of years. They advertise that they will make staying at home easier, but they don't. We have had to go through a lot of different service people over the period, and some are very good, but, you can never rely on them coming. Sometimes you don't get notified and most times you are not told till… Read more

late on the night before that the service person wasn't going to come at 9am next day, which of course leaves them no time to find a replacement. The whole system seems very disjointed and no real follow up, they are sympathetic when you speak on the phone, but doesn't help when you are not going to get the service for the whole fortnight. It is all so frustrating especially when they get soooo much money out of it from the government!! It costs a lot to change plus the hassle of it all, which I think they take advantage of. I feel sorry for the people who have no one to advocate for them.

Can't reliably provide services – This organization charges $14,700.00 per year from my mothers aged care package to manage/arrange the staff for her two home visits a day. They continually do not have enough staff to provide the services they say they can provide. The customer service is very poor. Today they did not turn up at all and did not ring to advise they were not coming. My mother was left with no lunch time service.
