bought Acupaedic massage chair in 2004 & used for nearlly 16 yrs – Our Acupaedic model ME-9202 was bought from Haymarket for $4000 after my husband tried a few other brands & compared the price. He found that was the best & reasonable price given the many functions. others brand cost $8000 or more & may be looked deluxe & not so basic like Acupaedic. It did the work of giving full massage of back & leg area. We… Read more
always felt asleep in it after massage, & didnt like to depart from it. Later my mum-in-law also bought one. She has problem in using the control & accidentally pressed a wrong intensity and broke the motor. she got the technician he repaired it & it was working until 2 yrs ago. Im looking for technician to get them fix & hope to use again. I dont know why this product didn't get popular may be lack of products support & too many other brands in the market.

Im 30 years old and do alot of physical labour work as i am a construction plumber.
i wake up everyday and the 1st thing i do is sit on the chair.
it stretches and warms up every muscle in my body getting me ready for my day.

When it breaks you're on your own – Chair was bought from the Acupaedic owner "Simon" for $3000 at a Sydney shopping centre stall and we were assured that it was the best chair around and that is came with 3 years warranty. After 7 months the machine broke down and when we called Simon to come fix it he took forever to come out, didn't bring any spares, couldn't fix it and promised… Read more
to come back with a technician. We never saw him again. After many calls and many broken promises we went to NSW Fair Trading and they looked into it themselves. Eventually they got back to us and told us we'd need to take him to the Tribunal as he had stopped responding to their enquiries after requesting a copy of the original invoice. The guy is a crook. Now we have this enormous broken chair taking up space and a huge hole in our wallet.
