Cost about $16 in a supermarket. I've had it 6 or 7 years now. It's noisy, but considering its price and longevity, i will give it full stars anyway. A good kettle.

Love the shape and design of this kettle.Much prefer matte finish to a shiny one..So quiet after my last one kettle..water level is easy to read. good value for a cheaper kettle

 Follow-up  · Still happy with my purchase..so far it is still quiet while boiling.pouring action is fine..easy to hold and pour..quick wiper over is all that's needed to clean it...I much prefer a matte finish..no problems with the lid so far
