Would never buy another AEG product – Had this oven for 11 months before it broke down ,it was 3 months before they could get parts the oven was turning on by it’s self an over heating. We have had the oven 8 years now an it doing the same thing . Show details

I hate this oven – I have had this oven for several years and still get frustrated with it. This oven cooks a roast meat well, but if you like your vegetables roasted not steamed forget it. This oven holds to much moisture. Its not good for making biscuits crispy. The pyro function works great Show details

very impressed – Just did my first pyro clean on this oven, I am so impressed - I wish I did a before and after shot (it was pretty badly stained!) . Oven looks new again. Show details

Pyro clean melted oven – Loved the oven until I did the pyro clean, melted the inside part on top of the door and plastic has run between glass. It was the first time I did the clean and not sure why this happened. Haven’t been in touch with customer service to see how they resolve issue or replace the door!  Show details

hate this oven – Like others my oven is very steamy, things take a lot longer to cook in it and as for baking home made bread... I have to remove it from the tins to cook the bottom. I've tried all different settings and nothing helps. The only good thing is the pyrolytic cleaning.  Show details

Just Fabulous – Amazingly easy to use. Purchased as an addition to the Steam Combi. Roasts meats and steaks cooked with are prob are flawless. In combination with the steam Combi I was able to cook two roast meats to perfection at the same time at Christmas . The quality of my cooking has improved, I highly recommend AEG appliances, money well spent.  Show details

Any fixes? – Did anyone find a fix for how steamy this oven is (won't brown vegetables etc)? I've come to realise that it's just not going to do the job. I'd like to be able to find out if all the other people who've made the same complaint have found a way to get it to cook properly or if there just replaced the unit.  Show details

Found this oven great – I have not experienced any cooking problem with this oven, I did however experience rusting within the oven cavity. Probably due to the steam this oven produces. Found AEG after sales service to be very prompt and professional. They have just replaced oven so hope all will be good this time  Show details

Expensive but not the best – Happy with the cooking, but before the warranty ran out every eletrical part in it has been, changed including the door hinges, and now every year I have to change the rubber door seal. Very costly. With the steam coming out, from the top .ruined my topac kitchen. Not happy  Show details

oven. Not very happy with the response from their support either. After reading these reviews, I assume they must know of the problem and simply imply it's normal.

Very disappointed – I am having trouble with cooking roast lamb and vegetables. Yet again yesterday, the potatoes didn't brown (after being par-boiled beforehand) and the pumpkin came out steamed. I was hit in the face with hot steam each time I opened the oven door. The oven doesn't seem to get hot enough. I am totally disappointed at my first experience with an AEG appliance, not to mention frustrated!!! please help  Show details

Poor for price – Updating review : Shoots you in the face with steam every time you open it and customer service received has been awful so far. Really wish we had gone with a different brand.

Not happy – Since I bought our new home a year ago, I have found the same problem with getting cry crispy vegetables. In fact, I tested the temperature in the oven to find that it goes no higher than 150, even when I set it as high as 200! This proved to be embarrassing when I had a special cooking demo in my home- the cream puffs took forever. help! Carole

Cooks to perfection! – So glad I made the switch to AEG appliances after my awful experience with another brand I won't mention. Easy to use and the self cleaning function is amazing. Can't say enough good things about my oven. After sales service is helpful with any questions I had. All round an amazing experience.

Won,t crisp roast vegetables – OVen heats up fast and pyrolytic function works great. It cooks well and evenly but will not crisp roast vegetables (which we cook several times a week) even with Turbo grill function. Oven seems far too steamy and you have to stand well back when first opening door as you will get a huge blast of extemely hot steam in your face. Disappointed as if it weren,t for steam, crisp problems would be very happy with this oven

So annoying! – I have never had a problem with cooking roast vegetables since I changed to this oven. As stated they don't brown! I have cooked roast potatoes, par boiled first and dried off then tried 200 degrees, 220 degrees. Cooked them for 2 hours and they are pale and not crispy...what's going on?? I think this one is a lemon.

Love the oven.......but warranty sucks – I have had my oven for nearly 4 years and could not fault it. already knew and went away to submit whatever paperwork needed to be done. I am still waiting on parts to arrive - turns out that if you live in a regional area parts are not ordered directly through AEG, they have to go through the local parts distributor, then you have to wait..........and wait. I love to cook and love to use my oven, it does not help that AEG did not really care when I voiced my displeasure over this nor did it help that the local repairer does not really care either (however they have scheduled my repair in next week in the hope that the parts will turn up). If I had purchased another brand (as told to me by the repairer, parts would have been here next day and I would be cooking up a storm). I will be looking very carefully in future at the warranty conditions before I make my next purchase.

Disappointing – I purchased my oven nearly 1 year ago and find that it doesn't crisp my potatoes and if I roast pumpkin it just turns to mush before it browns. I was wondering if I had it on the wrong setting but have tried bake and fan bake. If any one has any suggestions, please let me know. Definitely not happy with my purchase especially that I love to cook!!!!!

This oven doesn't brown and doesn't do crackling – After several month of use I haven't yet been able to fin the way to get a nice browning on a poultry or a joint of meat. This oven cooks almost like a steam oven. Cooking with turbo grilling browns only the side near the fan at a well above recommended temperature. If recommended temperature is use the meat will not brown. Not at all what I was expecting from a recent model oven. I regret my purchase!!!

assistance, everyone I dealt with at AEG was helpful and service was prompt. A technician arrived all was covered under warranty. Satisfied customer!

What a great oven – Best oven I've ever owned cooks well easy to clean great value big thanks to salesman who suggested this model to me .5 year warranty gives even more confidence. have had cheaper brands before, never again. if there is a problem it that the delivery guys were to friendly and chatty.

Beware – We bought an oven and with the very first use after installation (you have to run pyro before you use it, so that's the first thing we did), it broke down. Spoke to customer service and they refused to replace the product even though its clear faulty out of the box but want to replace parts which is not the law. we are entitled to new one. Cant really report on its cooking performance obviously.

Great quality Oven but Beware! – We bought the AEG after much consideration 12 months ago when we updated our kitchen. I also bought an AEG induction cooktop at the same time. UPDATE: I was using the grill with the door open a few weeks ago. The outer door exploded with no warning. The safety glass shattered all over the kitchen. No idea how or why this happened the oven has been well looked after. And guess what-- AEG didn't want to know about it. Beware. Looks great, works even better

A great oven – What a difference a great oven makes.Great for baking ,roasts and all our oven needs. The oven is well lit so no need to open the door to check on progress.It is well ventilated so no massive amounts of steam in the face when opening. The quad glazed door makes it cool to touch and the oven is very quiet. The shelving and internal size make it easy to use all types of dishes and trays.

Mislead – beware, the very dangerous grill sets on fire with door closed and burns your hair and face trying to put it out. Be sensible, Buy an oven with a separate grill and save your life! I rue the day I wasted my money on this product.

Delivery not reliable – I don't know about the oven as I am still waiting for it.When I bought it I was told it would be delivered on the 6th of may,confirmed but after a call from AEG on the 5th stelling me they would be a slight delay I still don't have any news more than a week later.Bad service from AEG who should'nt sell merchandise when not in stock.So if you buy AEG make sure they have in stock

Love my oven – I love this oven, it is a pleasure to cook with in almost everyway. The pyrolitic cleaning function (which I thought may be a bit of a gimmick) is in fact fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend this oven to anyone. Only gripe is that my fan which used to turn off when you opened the door no longer does. I am yet to follow up with AEG / Harvey Norman. Even cooking, fast heat up. Easy to clean. Nothing really.

Rubbish customer service under warranty – Actual purchase was painful as AEG stuffed up when processing the payment, had to wait for them sort out, before they deliver it. Once we had the oven it was wonderful for the first 15months. Servicing under warranty painful, unable to repair in home, so the oven spent 2 weeks at their workshop ( mean while I had no oven) returned with more faults… Read more

than it left with. Finally have agreed to replace the oven, but with no stock available it would have to be back ordered with an estimated 3 weeks till delivery. Oven is completely cactus and not safe to use. So that would 3 weeks with no oven. AEG have approved a full refund of oven only, but that will take 7 days to process "as we have to follow procedures ".
