AEG BS9304001M / BS9314001M Questions & Answers
VerifiedCan I use the enamel baking trays in the steam oven ?
The oven is a normal oven, with the addition of the ability to also choose to use steam. There is no requirement to use steam. All of the programs that a normal oven has are here. Many of the programs do not use steam, so if you think there might be a problem with some baking tray or other form that you normally use in an oven, then just choose a setting that uses no steam (Conventional Cooking, or True Fan Cooking, for example).
That said, I don't see why not to use an enamel baking tray. They are normally pretty durable. If your trays are able to withstand normal ovens, and are able to withstand hot water (steam), then it should be fine.
hello
we have our AEG pyrolytic and steam ovens for some months now and the steamer has not been used at all and we are doing our best to find ways to get best results from pyro oven
I am disappointed in not being able to get best out of them.
Do you know if any classes are run to show how to get the best cooking results from these ovens.
WE live on the gold coast
thank you

Hi Susan I live in WA and yes over here there are training classes at the representatives for AEG (shops) like New Kitchen quarters and so on. I believe if you go to AEG Australia, they'll have something to say about this training or you can register yourself:-) Connie
Hi Susan
I find AEG ovens a bit difficult to use their programmes
Regards, Connie
Hi Susan
Think you will find that a number of retailers have cooking demonstrations that show off the features of various products. Remember not only AEG demos will provide use full information. We went to a Miele demo that was excellent.
Hi Susan. I agree with you- all the products are very poor in functioning and programming - I would like a refund as this is my 4th steamer in 6 months ... What a joke - I think I'm going to go to consumer affairs
