Waste of money.every time we opened the microwave/oven it tripped the electric, first engineer was useless second one was a lot better repaired it, but exactly the same fault occurred two months later,by this time the warranty had expired and AEG did not care at all and wanted to charge us for parts and labour. We will never deal with AEG again.

Trouble from the start – I have had two replacement microwaves from new in seven years. The microwave function does not work after a period of use, it’s Sparks from the stainless steel side panels and builds up steam between the glass panels of the door. This is happening again and AEG won’t replace the oven saying it is repairable. I am NOT happy. Also, the service… Read more

people are very polite, but it’s like talking to a brick wall not allowed to speak to a service manager or anyone other than the service department call taker

The worst oven I’ve ever had – If you’re thinking of buying an AEG CombiQuick Combi Microwave Oven don’t, they are rubbish and a complete waste of money. We first bought our oven in September 2020 and the microwave section started going wrong almost immediately, the oven used to steam up and water would pour down the outside of the oven someone came out to repair it after about… Read more

a month. It continued to go wrong and finally they replaced it with a new oven. That lasted exactly 1 year and started to go wrong again, after a month someone came and changed a part in the microwave, the same part that they’d replaced in the first oven. If it goes wrong again I shall demand my money back so as I can buy a decent usable oven. I am extremely disappointed, thought we’d chosen a good reliable brand but NO it’s the worst appliance I’ve ever had.

Scrap metal – Like most others here, I own a household of AEG appliances which at some time have been repaired, replaced or in the case of this combo-microwave...ignored. 3 of 5 appliances have required call-outs to date. Agreed, this is a poor microwave but there are issues also in oven mode. Both AEG & their technician have confirmed that regular opening… Read more

of the door is required during microwave to turn food for even cooking or defrosting. As this is not how I would expect a microwave to work, AEG offered a refund less 20% handling fee. This didn't seem fair so I kept it as an oven and bought a benchtop microwave instead.

The AEG technician was here recently to replace the door (due to condensation / dripping from the outside of the oven door) which seems to be an ongoing issue with this model. I mentioned that the oven is now making a high pitch screech (which he heard) but he said to call back if it got worst and wouldn’t do anything further on that day. So here I am a few short weeks later needing to take time off work again to wait for the same tech to return.

I might add that I've had a dryer replaced and am awaiting a refund on a faulty 60cm steam oven that was spraying water onto the running fan. A refund as the options offered were to downgrade the faulty full steam oven to the model below (without full steam) or pay a sizeable up-charge to have it replaced with the only oven they range now with full steam.

Every time I communicate with AEG customer care I feel as though I'm doing something wrong or causing trouble. The tone, service and basic lack of apology for the issues are simply not there. So disappointing.

Don't buy AEG – I would not buy AEG. The first one was faulty and the second one broke down after 2 years and 4 months, which is only 4 months after it was out of warrantee (very convenient for AEG). I think the company and its engineering has gone down the drain and is no longer should be considered as a German built product. Very upset with them that is paying… Read more

£600 for only two years use. The oven’s controls are not intuitive and the default settings are not customisable. Last time I buy anything from AEG.

Great smaller combi microwave and oven – This microwave is great as it is also an oven. It’s hard to get around the idea that there isn’t a glass plate turning inside of it and the metal shelf can stay when microwaving, but it works well. I reduce the watts to 800 and microwave long and slow. I tend to use the oven more than the microwave, but have cooked a small joint of meat using… Read more

both the microwave and the oven at the same time. Saves time and you have browned , cooked meat a lot quicker. The oven itself heats faster and cooks as well as my bigger oven. Perfect for week meals for the 4 of us. Great for grilling and gratins as well. It fits a 60cm tray, just like the big oven.

Blew up after a year, now issues with replacement one – I’ll start off by saying I spent over $20,000 on AEG appliances and I’m up to I think call out number 8! I’ve had issues with every single one being oven, combo oven, dishwasher and induction cooktop . But I’m relation to the combi oven, the first one blew up after a year... i was given a replacement one and now I have issues with the new one… Read more

making very loud noises and heating issues. I’m so over having to call up AEG to get technicians out! It’s such a ways of my time. I wish they would come and rip them all out and take them away! Over it.
