Lucci airfusion akmani DC ceiling fan 36 watt – Brought two of these fans in New Zealand, paid $550 each on special. dear enough. look great, have them on one meter droppers, due to the ceiling 4.2 high. have 6 speed remote, and reverse function. cant hear any motor noise even on the fastest setting and very steady. mainly running on second setting to push hot air down, working just great, so far. The dark wood of the blades look cool against the light wood of the ceiling. Instructions for setting up was easy to follow. Must say from 4,5,6,settings on the remote sure can move the wind around.
Purchased in for $550.
Silent fan that is anything but – Akmani DC fan is sold as a silent fan due to its DC motor. The motor may be silent, but the frequency for the remote control is not silent. The fan constantly emits a strange 'electrical humming' noise, which according to the repair techinicians, is the fan 'talking' to the remote control and cannot be fixed.
