Very versatile product – Very good at cleaning all hard surfaces, especially in both kitchen and bathroom. I recently discovered if you sprinkle around skirting boards in kitchen, it will stop and kill cockroaches, making it a cheap alternative product for pest control. Show details

Cleaning biz – Tried clean some dark mark on bath tube. Nothing else work but ajax powder and kitchen scrub. Dark mark disapper in my own eye. Thank you saving my day..... great products

Disappointed – I agree with other reviews posted. What is Ajax doing? It doesn't have the nice smell to it anymore and it is horrible. I have my old Ajax which is lovely (finished today) made in Australia and opened new one which is horrible and made in Mexico? Packaging is same 500g but new packaging is larger. New "Gritty" Formula is really bad! – What happened to the Ajax Powder I've been using for over 40 years? It now leaves a gritty substance over everything that you clean including the cleaning cloth. It then takes twice as long as it took to clean to try and get the grit out of the cloth and whatever it was that you were cleaning. I have had to change to using Jiff. Very disappointed! Why did they change it, was it a cost saving measure?

Destroyed my tub – AJAX powder ruined my tub. It left sprinkle stains all over it. I've tried everything to bring them out. My tub looks horrible. I have to replace it. I called AJAX asking for suggestions to remove the stains and they it was my fault for leaving the cleaner on too long.

What have they DONE!! – This grey muck is NOT the ajax i love and know. I will be changing. Even the top came off the container. It sits in the bottom of the loo and cannot be flushed away. Terrible, terrible. Another product bites the dust.

Very disappointed – I totally agree with Ronnie "Disappointed", SandraD "Grey & Dreary", Bmck "Disaster" and after 50 years of using it I too will be looking for something else if you can't bring back the original.

Disappointed – I'm so disappointed with the change in this product, its grey powder feels grubby and isn't anywhere as efficient as the original product, I'm going to have to find something else to use, I don't like it at all!!

Grey and dreary – I just bought Ajax powder which I have used for 40 plus years and it is grey! It is awful and doesn't feel at all like I'm cleaning anything and, in fact, feels like I'm pouring dirt onto my surfaces. Please bring back the original product.

Disaster – What has happened to my favourite product of many years just bought new stock and it is like cleaning with dirty grey mud and a disgusting odour. Bring back the old product ie if it aint broken why fix it.

Best Of The Best! – I am in LOVE with AJAX POWDER CLEANSER. I do not use anything else but this for cleaning from utensils to kitchen sink, shower screen, bath, laundry sink, tile floor...pretty much everything! wonder why the manufacturers never did one. A suggestion would be a simple lid like on a Pringles pack - once you peel the sticker off the top, it doesn't stick well enough to seal it. A proper seal would be great and would stop it spilling when knocked over as well.

The best bathroom cleaner I have found – I have used Ajax bleach powder to clean my shower and it never lets me down. I have tried all of the liquid and new products that say that they leave your bathroom clean and fresh not once I hav I been satisfied with the results I always return back to good old Ajax and yes my showe sparkles and my friends always ask me what I use and the best is Ajax that's why it's been around so long .

Suggestion – I have been using ajax for years and the product does its job well. However, I would like to suggest that a good cover be develop. The present product cover is just a tape once peeled off it cannot be put back anymore.

Best bleach type product available – Great value for money. Just a sprinkle in the shower and a scrub with the brush does the trick. I don't bother with liquid shower cleaners. They aren't value for money. Ajax lasts for ages. Recently I scrubbed my deck with it with good results.

than Jif or cream cleansers. I love the no-nonsense and easily recognisable packaging and unlike many spray cleaners, there is no sticky residue left behind, just a clean, fresh smell. I always keep a few cans around the house because I'd be devastated if it ever went out of production! Keep up the good work, Ajax!

An old favourite that is still great value and readily avialable – This stuff has been around for many many years and remains a staple for certain cleaning jobs. This is what "Ajax" actually started as and unlike some of the newer "Ajax" products that simply inherited the name and have been a little disappointing this original has remained trustworthy. Cheap, Very effective when used correctly, easy to sprinkle, been around for ages, Can possibly be abrasive on modern "soft" plastics.

doesnt have a strong smell so i dont mind using it in confined spaces. not expensive to buy if the area you store the ajax in gets damp i find the powder contents will clump up and be difficult to sprinkle from the can. there is no sealable plastic lid just a tab if you can manage to keep it sticky

Excellent – I switched to mainly chemical free cleaners a few years ago but this is one I keep around for the shower and stains on the sink. concentrated as you want. Really gets out tough stains on sinks and showers that other cleaners don' get out. It isn't something that I like to use all the time as even though it contains a natural cleaner it still has chemicals that aren't great for you. Wear gloves when using it because it can irritate your skin.

It is a bit strongly scented, I think because of the bleach, so it may not be ideal for those with sensitive skin.

You can add a little water to make a paste if you wish. well priced, long lasting, easy to apply powder cleaner. mildly abrasive and very efficient.A well known and trusted brand.pleasant fragrance. Excellent – I have recently started using this again. I mop the floors with this every second time. It is a simple product to use. trusted long time running product, easy to find at any supermarket, easy to use, does not irritate my skin, does not have an unpleasant smell or a strong smell like alot of cleaning products do there are no cons in my opinion
