money. Bought a Kmart 2 slice toaster for $10.00 and works perfectly. Cannot recommend this ALDI White elephant.USELESS

Worked well for a couple of weeks, then one element stopped working – Standard sandwich and toasting bread used. Worked well until element stopped operating. No problems with sticking or jamming. Show details

Really good – I've had my 4 slice aldi toaster for more than a year and I think its great. It browns both sides evenly and right to the edges of average size bread. In fact I've just bought my Son and daughter in law the same one. Show details

Looks great but doesn't toast – This toaster looks great and I purchased it 1/9/21 with the matching kettle. Unfortunately, even on the darkest setting the bread does not toast and comes out looking as pale as it went it. Customer support offered a refund and said the product was not economical to fix. They should have spent as much time on correcting the errors in this product before releasing it to the market as they did in designing it. I'm surprised Aldi hasn't recalled it. Show details

Poor quality – Great-looking toaster and worked well for a few months. Then starting toasting unevenly and too hot. Then one side stopped working just a year after purchase. Don't waste your money. Show details

Crap don't waste your money – Worked ok in the beginning, then bread started toasting unevenly, and then one day one of the sides decided it didn't want to stay down, and that was that, I had a 2 slice toaster and if I wanted 4 slices I had to hold one side down until it cooked as it would not stay down. Waste of $59, kmart $15 toaster was 100% better! Show details

Just a pretty face – The toaster looks great. This is the only positive. Toast cooks unevenly in all 4 slots, it is quite shallow (can't accommodate anything bigger than around 13cm), heating time is slow and bits of bread, seed etc manage to find their way into the back of the timing screens.  Show details

Very disappointed! – Tried all times of bread, all settings and found the toast is hard and dry. The toaster looks very expensive but the quality of the toasting is not as good as my cheap 2 slice toaster. Would not recommend at all. Show details

dangerous – while the unit was working it was fine. looked great and the option to not only cook 2 or 4 slices but reheat and defrost functions was quite nice. definatly wasnt "cheap" and definataly an over kill just to cook toast... now brings us to the point,,, after just over 12 months and light use... maybe once in 2 weeks on average (low carb family)… Read more

it now not only doenst work after like 40 usages it is actually dangerous.... it activates the saftey swtich and cut the power to the house!!!!! IS NOT SAFE if i didnt have a safety switch id not know it was faulty... be careful looks busy and stainless expensive based on life time of unit, dangerous as electreically unsafe

OK – Overall there's no problem with toasting any slices but its just annoying that one of the LED lights is not working properly. Don't know if its a fault or not. handles a wide variety of bread slices LED light goes on and off making it hard to read the timer
